Cox hasn't showed up all season.  Once Graham went out and the spotlight for leadership went to the team's highest paid player he tapped out.  Don't think he wants any part in taking the toll on his body of another trashcan team.  But once you get to that point at a very high paid veteran you are done.

Well, I used to rip Doug all the time for poor game planning.  Nick had this one wrong right from the opening snap.  I said at the beginning of the week I wanted to see 25-30 running plays from Sanders and Gainwell.  We got 3.  It seemed like he panicked at watching DAL walk down the field for 7 points and felt he needed to make it a shootout — he doesn’t have the guys for that.

I didn’t see Dillard allow a pressure all night.  He made a bad play moving downfield ahead of a screen pass, and got a holding penalty on a scramble into pressure from Hurts — but he played well.  He and Kelce were miles better than Johnson and Dickerson.

This offensive game plan from DAL showed how bad the Eagles LB are.  Their OL double-teamed Cox and Hargrave and they ran Elliott and Pollard directly behind it.  The LBs have to eat those running plays up.  DAL was getting 5-6 yards through the middle every play.

Eagles lost in both trenches tonight.  Their OL had little chance because of Hurts, but the DE did not play well tonight.

Hurts isn’t the guy.  The Eagles are fooling themselves the longer they stick with him.

And it’s because analytics said it was a good idea and Louie told Nick what to do

Game plan probably is better when for 5.5 consecutive quarters your QB isn’t 13/30 with 2 ints. Kind of what was said when wentz was horrible last year and we defended doug saying it was wentz’s fault

sirianni’s game plans have been garbage the last two weeks. So has our passing game cause we continue miss wide open receivers or tight ends. And when we do have success we have wide receivers stepping on the out of bounds line or we commit penalties that take it away.

That was a crap fest.  Watkins had some nice flashes.   That's about the end of the positives.  Sure, Hargrave was beasting early, but the defense was also completely gashed constantly.   Siposs with some more nice punting.

Smith was good when Hurts wasn't throwing him balls that he had to be contested cause he throws it to effing late.

He had a decent game.

Whew.

I guess it's not that bad then.

As far as QB factories go, the Eagles are great at making punters.

We are the guy that accidentally invented post it notes

Doug Pederson (as bad as it was last season) never had a game this bad.  This is awful football tonight.  2 running plays to running backs when your running game has been a highlight all season?  Seriously?

I can name multiple games last season where Doug Pederson called a worse game than tonight.   Every decision he made last year was to the detriment of his players.  From personnel decisions, sticking with older guys, 7 step drops without rolling the QB out while you’re on your 14th offensive line formation, having Greg Ward as a primary target, etc etc. I could just keep going.

I don’t think Sirianni is the answer by the way but it’s too early to write him off. It’s obvious that he’s handicapped by his QB. When he throws a horrible pick in their 1st possession and their 2nd possession is on the 1 inch line for a combined total of 3 minutes of TOP, it’s no wonder they couldn’t run the ball.

Woot! We’re number 1.

I stand corrected. It's only the 13th most all-time. It's the most in team history though.

Hurts has not drawn the best of cards with this early game schedule and it all works to Minshew's favor with this 2nd half of the season schedule.  Likewise for Dallas.  Easy early season schedule and hard second half season.  That said the best time for Hurts to take advantage of an opportunity is when the odds are against him.  That is when you most impress.  Sirianni has been awful and is clearly feeling the heat from Roseman/Lurie to act like running with the RB exists in the realm of the game.  Really bad position for him but he has to step up and play better.

You have to at least promote Minshew to #2 and we will lose next week but Hurts and this offense need to look much better in the effort and resemble more the team in week 1 than we have seen get worse over the past two weeks.  I don't want to watch another season like last year.  That was just miserable every Fing week.

Dallas gashed is up the middle at will.  He did not have a good game.

Honestly, just use the "Ask Madden" feature to call plays and call it a day.

Might as well.  Or ask "Alexa”

The illegal men downfield penalties are on Sirianni as much as Hurts.  He needs to plan for Hurts to hold onto the ball too long.

So your bailing on Hurts.  I thought we had to give him a chance ??

He used to be the reason teams couldn't run on us.  I remember Thanksgiving Day when we routed them with Sanchez when Cox met Elliott in the backfield and lit him up for a huge loss.  Today they ran without resistance.

No way.  When did Doug call 3 running plays to RB’s with 39 pass plays after an abysmal game plan with a 90% healthy offense?  Not even close.

That’s another problem we kept complaining about Carson Wentz last year was holding onto the ball too long. Going to have to get it out faster likely lost Brooks and seumalo for long period of time.

No resistance at the line.  Huge running lanes.
