Switch Winston Churchill and Brett Favre in their respective positions and I doubt Winston's chances in the NFL are any better than our chances of us all at least speaking with a stronger German accent with Brett Favre running the UK's WW2 effort.

I'm sort of appalled that people actually said the team would be better this year because they'd have a healthy OL.  3 games in and they are one Lane injury away from a clean sweep across the OL minus the ancient Kelce.  Dickerson is playing poorly and may not be healthy enough to hang on at RG much longer.  The best relief on the horizon, Driscoll, is presently on IR and has never played extended snaps without getting hurt himself.

Kudus to them all though on at least briefly keeping a half decent pocket for Hurts to prematurely vacate tonight.

This is probably true, but there's no point in starting him over Hurts because he's not the long-term solution. Howie will manage to F up the draft picks, but it's still better for this team to win four games this year, improve their draft position, and move on from Hurts knowing firmly that he's not their guy.

I don't see it that way.  I think he has great respect for Lurie and the organization.   

His "stick it to the Eagles game" was back when Chip was the HC after Reid was let go by the Eagles.

Honestly it was an uninspiring two choices they got down too. I hated mcdaniels. I still think he’s riding Brady’s success. Like they put themselves in the position they were cause they waited a week to fire doug. If you were gonna do it then do it right at the end of the season so you don’t already have candidates basically off the board.

If I remember correctly I believe there was a report floated out there saying the Andy Reid didn’t want his assistants interview cause of how the eagles handled doug and firing him.

Yup. The whole "wait a week and we’ll figure it out then” was such a bad approach when teams were already lining up interviews.

Screens and swings are extensions of the running game, we were effective there.  The dumb penalties put us behind the chains and the scoreboard said you have to pass.  He throws with any accuracy past the LOS and the game might have looked a lot different.  I thought the play calling was decently 2D.  Once Dallas realized he couldn't complete simple passes they played up and aggressive.  'Running more' wouldn't have solved anything other than took some TOP away from Dallas.

Regardless of their timing, they were never going to get the best candidate who had other options considering Howie and Lurie are just looking for a Yes-Man who won't rock the boat and go along with their agenda. What Doug went through was probably a major turn-off to any candidate who had multiple teams to choose from anyway. No one should fault Sirianni for taking the job. He just fit the bill for what Lurie and Howie were looking for.

I don’t disagree with your assessment. However they screwed themselves twice by waiting in general.

I’m almost positive there was a tweet put out there that Andy didn’t want his assistants taking interviews going for the eagles job. That’s the whole thing the Eagles supposedly set up an interview with beinemy and then he didn’t show up and then they claimed he didn’t have one.
