He just needs to become stronger and more physical. Diggs was all over him like a rash and he had no answers.

That's not going to happen. His quickness needs to be utilized.

That’s why you play your starters and get those thing corrected in preseason. However this team is so undisciplined who knows if they even respond to Nick yet.

We’re in week 3. What impact could 20 preseason snaps have at this point?

Its just confirmation bias.

I know Dillard was a train wreck at RT in 2019. But when he played LT, he was adequate as a rookie IIRC. He looked better in the pre-season against the Jets and again last night. He might not be a complete waste.

Yeah...I'm working hard for some positives. But maybe, just maybe, Dillard has grown up some.

Good matchup for him. Dallas had no power at DE.

Nice deflection.  Your problem is you think everyone who gets you is just a gotcha poster, so you give yourself an out.  Why will you not respond to the post about the defense not responding ??

Give Afan some credit do you know how hard it is to find silver lining’s after that God awful performance? It’s a gift I’m telling ya.

Agree -- Parsons is all speed and the rest are journeymen and small. I'm actually interested to see him again next week if Jordan isn't back. Might as well find out what we have.

Not much but it’s better to identify a problem early before rather than late. At this point your right it doesn’t even matter.

In the second half, I basically just watched him.

So Dillard's not a big crybaby piece of crap after all

Seems not.  And he's not a garbage LT.  I won't discuss him at RT, because we really haven't seen him there since his rookie year, but as a LT, he's 'fine'.   He was pretty good there as a rookie, before he got flipped to RT.  He didn't fare well with the limited prep and clearly wasn't in the right head space to do it so quick.

BUT, as a LT, he's pretty good and worth quite a lot for this team to have a LT like him ready to play off the bench.  If they need to put someone at RT for Johnson, I still feel that the best move would be to flip Mailata to RT and plug in Dillard at LT.  Not ideal given that you are messing with both tackle spots, but teams have done that before when the LT goes down.  And I'd say that Dillard is a 'plus' LT even now.

i can’t tell how intelligent anyone is until we get to 57 games of posting.

Extra game now, but still…

Still on pace for a record after only 16 games (186).

They need to get that fixed, and Hurts needs to stop holding the ball so long on the RPOs.  The OL run block, so any hesitation is going to be a flag every time.

Hurts running around in his own end zone was egregious as well. Nowhere to go but up.

We should stop the RPO all together and do try some 10 step drops like what the Seahawks do

The fact the Eagles did the same thing they did with Nelson Agholor and Derek Barnett is maddening. Where they should’ve just let him walk away instead of using the 5th year contract.  he was never going to live up to that draft spot. Instead of using that $10 mil to roll over to 2022 or fixing other issues, they restructured it and have 7 mil dead money next year for keeping a walking penalty. The only difference is the eagles compounded it by restructuring it so they have a 7.28 mil dead money in 2022.

The defense gave up long drives, they tired themselves out by not getting off the field. You know your offense is going to struggle, when the defense struggles as well, it's gonna be a long night. Down 20-7 and hardly saw the ball the first half.

6 plays, 75 yards TD

13 plays, 74 yards (stopped on goal line with favorable call)

7 plays, 50 yards TD

16 plays, 65 yards TD

3 plays, 0 yards

3 plays, 6 yards

6 plays, 24 yards

3 plays, 31 yards TD

13 plays, 61 yards TD

So anyone think the Phils can Sweep the Braves? It maybe our only shot at a post season this year.

That second one was atrocious. I think it was Goedert who was supposed to get the pass but instead Hurts decides to play backyard ball with Watkins

Sixers will make the playoffs and Flyers might.

If they can salvage Dillard that would be huge.

Nope. Nola has been very pedestrian and I see a blown save in atleast one if not two of the games. The phillies bullpen is like a Howie Roseman draft board. 🙂

Sixers need to figure out the Simmons mess. Flyers are well the Flyers…

The offense their first 3 possession had a total Time of possession of 3:43. The offense couldn’t stay on the field themselves as they were 0-4 on third down. And the one time they did move the ball we threw a pick. Their offense sucked because they had 4 possessions where they couldn’t convert on 3rd down and one possession we threw a pick on a poorly thrown ball and the play calling was miserable

The defense had their own set of issues getting off the field and really stopping the run. No one is arguing that they weren’t also largely responsible for this loss. However this hurts brought them back to 27-14 and the defense failed hurts after is BS. They got a stop on Dallas next possession and then the offense went 3 and out with -1 yards in 1 min and 24 seconds.

Woof, Reagor needs to get off twitter. Apparently he's threating to beat up some random fan lol. I'd post it but it's full of racial slurs and other choice words that would get me instabanned.

6 plays, 75 yards TD

Offense responded with 3 plays and a turnover

13 plays, 74 yards (stopped on goal line with favorable call)

It was actually 11 plays, the offense then responded with 3 for 5 and a punt

7 plays, 50 yards TD

It was actually 6 plays, the offense then responded with 3 for 7 and a punt

16 plays, 65 yards TD

It was actually 13 plays, the offense responded with 4 for 29 and a punt

3 plays, 0 yards

The offense responded with 5 for 27 and a punt

That is my response to the first half.  The offense did nothing to help the defense out, and scored the only points keeping it a two score game.

The offense then proceeds to come out and hand Dallas 7 more points in the first minute, then goes three and out with another punt.  The defense forced two punts after that, but the offense was unable to sustain anything minus 1 drive that Watkins had to make a miraculous catch on an atrocious throw.

The offense was more responsible for what happened last night than the defense.

Hoping push Ranger and Gibson but then Nola still has to pitch against the Marlins. I’m hoping the Phils pull it out. Bryce has been killing it and I’d hate to waste his performance this year.
