For all the older gentlemen on the forum, "cap" is synonymous with "lying" or "B.S."

Appreciated.  I thought it meant 'screen cap', as in screen capture.  I am a dinosaur, apparently.

Because as I watch what the Eagles are... I keep having the same thought...

I say give Hurts a few more games, but after that it's time for Minshew.

I was thinking about this last night as well. Minshew was good enough to be 6-6 in 12 starts with a bad Jacksonville team in 2019. In 2020 he was 1-7 with a horrible team, but in both years he had a rating above 90 and a good TD/INT ratio (not for nothing, but they didn't win a game started by anyone else those 2 years). He clearly can be a bridge QB for us moving forward. So if we reach a point where we determine Hurts isn't going to be the guy, when do we turn it over to Minshew? I'd say either the Chargers game or the Saints game make the most sense.

The homerun would be Minshew shows he can be a caretaker QB. You extend him on a team friendly contract in the offseason, use picks on building the rest of the roster, and in 2023/2024 you either move him along or he becomes a backup when we bring in an established QB.

And the defense did respond after the TD drive, but the offense went back to what they had done all night, Pass, Pass, Pass, Punt.

If only we had brought in Josh Gordon... then it would have been puff, puff, pass instead.   Not a better result, but no one really cares.

If it is indeed fake, not only did they get the look of it down, they pretty much nailed how I would expect him to talk, including "talk to much" instead of "talk too much".

I actually watched a good portion of that during the game last night.  ESPN's MNF crew is just awful.  I still can't get over the one guy when discussing the Dak sneak TD saying along the lines that "it feels like it should be a TD.  I can't see the ball but it feels like he got it over the line.  You can imagine the ball is in there somewhere.  If you take all of the angles and make one big picture, it's a TD."

Was it also on the first or second Cowboys drive of the game, they were like OK, time for the Cowboys to roll...something along that.  Absolute trash crew.

I STILL can't find the Eagles FM broadcast in Central PA.  It's not 96.1 or 97.3  I did get some static last week on 98.9 but that isn't right either.  I had to leave at halftime and couldn't find it in my car.

If it's real, I can't imagine any kid looking up to him.  But you know a lot of players talk like that anyway.

The Cowboys love was over the top, but I think part of it was Reddick loves to throw shade at Roseman any chance he gets

If they are 1-6 after the Bucs and the offense does not look better, I would start him @ Detroit.

Was trying to let him take over for a home game, but that really is irrelevant.

I find it interesting his team was actually winless in games started by anyone else the last 2 years. I am pretty sure the same was true of Darnold and the Jets. Now, Darnold was the #3 pick in the draft, not a 6th rounder, but looks like Sam's struggles had a lot more to do with the organization than his abilities. Maybe the same can be true for Minshew -- can't hurt to find out if Hurts keeps struggling.

Gardner Minshew gives the Eagles young weapons the best chance at succeeding and reaching their full potential.  He's a much better passer than Hurts and you can bet he would spread the ball around the field.  The called QB runs would also go away allowing more runs for Sanders and Gainwell.

Minshew can win with this team.

If you think Hurts is the only reason this team is bad right now then you're delusional.

Hurts is the biggest issue in terms of starters.  He has been terrible over the last 2 games.  The problem is that where his failings end and Sirianni's begin is a blurry line.

They were so god awful and infuriating.  I will never listen to them again.

Who knows how Minshew will do with this team.  The only thing it might cause is for the team to fire Sirianni.

Wow, I did not notice that.  Good catch.

That was said by the retired ref they have on hand they use for guidance on penalties and close calls. Listening to him say what he did was disgusting and I agree the Cowboy love was nauseating. I understand the Eagles have some culpability in this but man, it was still way over the top. I had to mute the game at halftime.

The Eagles games are on WIP so I recommend to download the app and listen to it that way.

Disagree

Theres a reason he goes over and asks him what happened.  He knows what happened, he just witnessed exactly what happened.

Was he looking for Devonta Smith to explain the physics behind why he lost his balance, or the coefficient of friction between his shoes and the turf?  No, he just wanted the cameras to capture him saying that.

Right but in the past, for as long as I can remember, certain FM stations here in Central PA carried the game.  My dad and I have used the radio for every game.  Now, none of the stations have it.

I'll try the app.

They are the worst. I did like the Tirico, Jaws and Gruden combination and after that this is the 4th set of commentators on MNF and they have all been bad.

There's a little bit of traffic but Hurts should still be able to see clearly "what happened".

watkins should be starting in his place.
