I don't know it it was posted in here but The hilarious thing is 2 teams broke the record for the least amount of rushing attempts in a game  and it wasn't us 😵💫😵💫

After they lose it actually helps coming on here cause there’s usually some good comedy and mixed with good recap. Mixed with bacarty losing money

Be curious to see @austinfan reaction and the mental gymnastics he has to do defending Howie for that trade.

I don’t know if i make that trade. I probably wait and hold out for mahomes if he keeps playing like this. the chiefs will make him available cause he’s showing signs of being unproven as he’s getting close to the 57 starts territory…

Just stay away from Eagles Facebook and Twitter. Those places are a nightmare. Like a million Bacarty

Would that trade need much defending though?

I know the prospect of having multiple picks in the 1st seems tantalizing, but considering Howie is the one making those picks, we're better off trading for a proven commodity.

Granted all this is hedged on the legal situation being resolved.

Nothing.  It’s just because he has been so against it and called him average.

Seriously. I can’t believe the sea of people pulling the "you don’t know football” card while defending Hurts play yesterday.

Makes it more amazing it’s some of the same things wentz was doing poorly last year like completely missing open receivers and poorly placed throws. And compounding it with turnovers. I think it’s more fans don’t want to accept we might not have a franchise QB at the moment and as much as we want hurts to become that it is trending in the wrong direction the past 2 weeks

This whole situation is tugging at my ability to reason.

Deshaun isn’t a bad dude. I once had dinner with him. When the bill came I asked what I owed and he told me "just the tip”.

It would be so Howie to pull out just before the deal is closed.

Just build with the draft and start minshew next season and hopefully a qb prospect pops the following season cause this current crop coming out looks like aids

Yeah, fix what you can. We say this every year but Kelce is going to retire soon so they need two guards and a center (Dickerson hasn't shown much). Good chance they may need at least one TE next year, 3 LB, DE, S, and a CB.

The problem is Howie is an idiot and making that trade will buy him more time. It's not the right thing for the franchise at all. They need to build a team and then find one piece vs having a QB with crap around him (see Stafford in Detroit).

Find a quote where I called him average. Another example of "gotcha" posting.

My argument is Watson isn't elite, because he never elevated Houston's offense into the top ten, despite having solid talent.

13th in offensive ppg in 2018 (23.5), 15th in 2019 (22.8), 19th in 2020 (23.6).

Miller/Hyde at RB, Hopkins/Cooks, Fuller at WR, Tunsil at LT. Rushing 10th in YPA in 2017, 11th in 2018, 10th in 2019, 15th in 2020 - the OL must be doing something right.

He gets sacked a lot primarily b/c he holds the ball too long. That inflates his QB rating, but not his QBR. 2018:  61.8 (13th) (just behind Wentz), 2019:  70.5 (7th), 2020:  70.5 (12th)

That's more accurate, somewhere around 10th in the league. Good but not nearly elite.

Watson would be an upgrade over Hurts, but unless the legal issues are resolved and you can get him at a bargain price, he'd set back the franchise, both the cap hit and cost of acquiring him would cripple this team - we're not TB with a lot of cheap talent that just needed a top veteran QB to put them over the top. And he wouldn't make them an instant winner, he might score a few more points per game, but he can't play OL or defense.

I have a guy on Twitter telling me that Dillard would re-sign here over other teams in free agency even if he plays well because of Stoutland and because Eagles need a backup swing tackle.

Yup the LBs have been pretty bad, Wilson was getting blown 10 yards off the ball, and in coverage where he's supposed to excel hes been invisible.

Singleton has Done absolutely nothing.

I'd like to see Davion Taylor play but dude keeps getting hurt, not sure why they brought him back so early when just to have him re aggravate the same Injury, who knows when he'll be back.

The DEs since graham went down have been atrocious, sweat has one sack where no one blocked him and that's it.

In the secondary Slay who I was told was pro bowler has made zero plays since he's been here, for the amount of money he makes one would expect him to maybe make a play every once in a while, the safeties have been invisible as well.

Hargrave is playing balls to the wall where the rest of them run around with their thumbs up their bums.

Maddox has been ok.

Wilson is terrible. Has not gotten enough criticism so far, maybe because everyone assumed he'd suck, I don't know. He wasn't completely useless in Minnesota.

Compound that with the fact that most of us have no confidence in the guy in charge of finding one.

Guys the Watson trade is happening!!!!!! :groovy:

I think you either draft a franchise qb or have one hand pick you because of your roster talent later in their career.  Trading for one terminates the rebuild, eliminates all resources to address other needs, and almost certainly leaves you with a net product that still isn’t good enough.

Draft someone in rounds 3-4 in 2022 who profiles as a good passer.  If that guy doesn’t blow you away as a rookie, then see if there are 2023 prospects worth moving up for.

I get that no one likes that plan…neither do I.  But I think it’s the path they have to take.
