No chance of that happening.  I wouldn't suspect he play anywhere this year.  And it would be so Miami for him to go there and tear his ACL when he does finally make it on the field.

Idk if he plays. But Miami’s owner is hell bent on getting watson. I could see him at least make the trade for him so he has his QB going forward cause i really don’t think their owner likes Tua.

Sure, that's one way to look at it. But we have something that Watson's going to want that Miami doesn't have. Cooter.

"It's coming" translates to when he is benched and Minshew starts playing.

Even with upgrading like rodgers, Wilson or watson coming up you are going to have to give up draft capital to get them. Those guys aren’t becoming free agents.

Hoping a brady or Manning becomes available in FA isn’t a great route to take. Manning had a serious neck issue and the Colts found themselves in position to take Andrew luck. Otherwise he wasn’t going to be available. That doesn’t happen all that often. And brady was 43 and the greatest Qb ever and became a FA at the end of his career. People forget when he signed there was a prevailing thought he might not be what he once was based off his 2019 season. Those two scenarios are more outliers to the fact you are going to have to trade for one of those QBs. You Might get a tannehill or Winston but i don’t think either is good enough to win you anything major.

Also you have to have good organization that is capable of building that roster. The eagles since the super bowl have been trending the wrong direction with every passing year.

We just had Brady move for nothing. It happens. But yeah, more likely you give up a first. That’s fine. The trick is to have everything else in place. We need to build up our talent across the roster. We will have a bunch of high picks next year. As long as we hit on most of those we’ll be fine.

It happens but not often and you have to have a team he’d want to come too. That said only the Chargers and Bucs wanted brady. His 2019 season really gave people a lot of thoughts he was declining and might be done in a year or two. Obviously that was wrong

there in lies the problem. The eagles haven’t exactly proven we can hit on most of those high picks.

Corral seems OK.  Not quite as golden as some of the others.

Statistically, we are about average. Within the long term average you will have classes of outliers. We just need this to be a class where we hit more than we miss.

I would argue from 2016-2020 they were below average specifically in terms of 1-3 round picks.

Glazer said keep an eye on the Watson situation it may be coming to a head, Dolphins the favorite.

It would be so Eagles for him to go to Miami and them make a deep playoff run, destroying the pick's value. And then Howie trades up for Rattler in the draft.

Once he is activated, by the Texans or whomever, he will be placed on the commissioners exempt list.

Those statistics are based on the player just being on the roster along with play.  We are getting credit for guys who suck just because we still employ them.

Honestly for miami i think it’s more about long term then just this season. As long as they believe or know he’s not going to prison i wouldn’t be shocked if their owner makes the move anyway

Also disagree with Nicks assessment that RPO's count as runs. Because they don't and that's a weak answer as to why did you only run 3 times.

And "he's ok" with RPO's causing out of whack ratios.

And "we motion if there is an advantage or if we can figure out what the defense is or to put players in an advantage. We aren't going to just motion to motion." What?

My avatar always comes back around to reflect reality. 🤦🏻‍♂️😂
