I’m a Reese’s cup kinda guy.  Especially the king size ones with the Reese’s pieces in it.

big cups are the best., especially chilled.  the ones with stuff in them are OK but the normal big cup is perfect.

You just have to feel it in your soul. What’s that Vince Lombardi quote?

Winning isn’t everything; Why do we keep score?

His quote was "Winning isn't everything, it's the only thing."

That is so true.  I started trying things I didn’t like as a kid and found that many are pretty good now.  But some, my young self was right about like broccoli and cucumbers, including pickled ones of the latter.   Now, I went through a good part of my life thinking I didn’t like anything pickled to find out it wasn’t the pickling, it was those nasty cucumbers.

Try it roasted.   There is a chemical in broccoli that a lot of people are oblivious to, but others can absolutely taste and it is not good.  When steamed, blanched, boiled or raw, it is present.  But roasted destroys that chemical.

Had this conversation with a biology teacher... some are 'super tasters', and certain compounds come through.  There is a specific paper they use to test.  If you stick it on your tongue and just taste paper, you are not.  If it is brutal tasting, you are the super taster.  His son was.  He told me a story about a time he took his son out for ice cream and his son refused to eat the ice cream, because he said it tasted bad.  Eventually they figured out that the preservative they were using in the ice cream contained this chemical.  He couldn't taste it, but his son did.

They kept talking about how bright his future is at the end of the Long segment.

Just sayin it to be nice.

No, kind of was there before the end of the PS but the Pascal hope for JJAW was a glimmer.  No targets. He is just a give away signal they will likely run it.  He is not such a dynamic ST player to justify keeping if he cannot be used as a receiver at all. Just let Stoll block.

I've been ready to move on from JJAW for a while.  Shouldn't have been on the roster last year, really... but they had to keep him around.

He must have just changed that because there were a few people giving him crap at first.

He’s so unlikable. A softer, less talented Agholor.

Agholor looks like Jerry Rice compared to him.

And Chase is 2.1 to Smith's 2.0. Maybe rookies need a few games to figure it out?

You mean everyone calling chase a bust in the preseason was overreacting?

That would be awesome. I wish we had a new GM for those picks

Still curious to the link for the PPG stats.  I came up with less PPG for Houston than you posted.

I’ve never had a problem with broccoli but just always did the boring steam or sauté. Until I randomly tried making roasted broccoli and it’s an absolute game changer.

And that’s much more in line with Chases game. He’s a contested catch guy. Also 2 of the top 3 are rookies.

Howie's never had one figure it out, so we wouldn't know how long it takes.

Through 3 weeks:

Rookies who look better than advertised during regular season: 0

It's early, yes, but 2019  2020 2021 was supposed to be the year Howie showed everyone he could draft and was finally the GM who found some early hits rather than guys on the slow development plan.

If they lose the last 4 games they would clinch their 10th consecutive non winning season.

That is similar to cilantro, to some it taste good and to others it tastes disgusting. To my mom and I it tastes like disgusting soapy dish water to my dad and sister they love it.

Wade got crapped on but we developed and drafted way better with him then any time since he’s been gone. Heck same thing happened to him in Houston after he drafted and developed and got fired right as they turned the corner.
