Maybe watching the Jags will make me feel better about the Eagles.

Sure until you see Lawrence go through prossesions and throw a pass over 40 yards.

My god the injuries this OL suffers is just beyond a joke.

If draft kings had prop bets on amount of eagles injuries per week and season I’d take the over.

Andre playing back to back good games would really up his trade value.

It is actually ridiculous. ESP said on the post game pod this week that they are just cursed. Like they have changed staff, they have tried different approaches and they just keep losing guys.

To change the subject... who's watching tonight's Thursday Night match-up?  Bengals vs. Jaguars.   If it was real bengal tigers taking on real jaguars, it would be can't miss TV.  But, as it is... I think I'll just go to bed early.

I haven't seen Lawrence yet. Also curious how Burrow is now

I think Watson and Allen are pretty comparable but Allen likely has better intangibles. Allen hasn't been nearly as productive as Watson and you have to wonder if his big jump in completion percentage was an aberration.   I think Hebert is probably a better prospect than Watson.  Murray is also kind of a push decision although he is someone that have some exponential growth if his recognition grows.  Hebert in 3 years may look better than Watson does at his best.  I think Carr would be higher on my list than Cousins.

I think Herbert is going to have a great career

Absolutely.  Like when getting the ball out late, zip can help make up for that, placement to compensate, etc.  Seems he has a lot of things to compensate for.

Not exactly sure what you're saying here...  timing is timing,  placement is placement...  etc, etc...  an experienced QB understands what he needs to do to accomplish what he wants given his own skill-set...

That's why I said the "arm-strength" or "zip" debate is a sticky one...  I don't think what is limiting him right now, what is causing him to be less than effective, is arm-strength...  there are plenty of other reasons for that to choose from...

I rather have carr than cousins tbh. I know cousins will shrink in big moments. I don’t need to deal with that. I think carr is a good QB just not a top 10 qb.

herbert is definitely a better prospect and likely has a higher ceiling.

that’s what scares me is that Allen had a huge jump year three from year 2. Watson has been consistent in his play year to year whereas Allen hasn’t. I would likely take Allen cause of Watson’s off the field stuff but if he didn’t have those it’s super close

I listen because I'm a Go Birds guy. And I have to say ESP isn't actually as bad as he used to be.

Yes, he is.  He is a Howie mouth piece, and an idiot.

Mary J Blige is the only one that would be entertaining for a halftime show.

This is gonna be a great halftime show. Two of the goat and up and coming goat in Kendrick Lamar. Can’t wait

I hope you are right i could use that in my sports life right now. I also have to deal with Arizona football as my alma mater. It’s ugly right

If he is releasing late on deeper throw, he can compensate by throwing it with a lower trajectory, throw it deeper to keep it in front of the receiver, etc.  In other words, throwing late affects where the ball needs to be, but he's not compensating for the late release by putting the ball in the right place for the late release, or by throwing it harder to get it there closer to the right time.  Instead its the same throw to the same spot, just late, making it underthrown.

He is appearing to lob these deep passes, but late lobs get picked off or broken up.

The arm strength is something that a player who is struggling with those other things can use to compensate with.  He needs to compensate for his arm as well.  It's not that strong, or he doesn't trust it or his eyes.

Theres a lot of moving parts here, but he does not have a plus arm.  There are still questions on if he actually has an NFL arm, at least as anything more than a backup.  His arm talent seems to be lacking.

So be it.  I don’t mind some of the older songs.  But I’ve never been a huge fan of rap.  And I normally prefer music where people play instruments or ………….you know…..sing.    Mary J is from back in my single years.  So she should be good.

I am a huge Rush fan, Boston, The Who, Tool, Foo Fighters, but I am always down for some classic hip hop, from the inventors of the G Funk sound.

Watson, Wilson, and Rodgers all seem to be in play this season.  Brady and Stafford recently.

It's not like going to Wawa to get a Gobbler, but to me, it's more favorable than bringing a rookie QB into a less-than-talented situation.

The issue with this type of move is that your window shrinks to a season, two or maybe 3 with most of these guys.  If forced into it, then you make the most of it when the chance arises, but that Bucs team was supposed to be built around Winston, not Brady.  But once that flopped, they changed course and having Brady come available for MONEY ONLY helps a lot.  Hard to give up draft resources and tons of money at the same time for a QB and still be able to add significant pieces to the roster for a run.
