and there's a reason for that, the dude is a bust...doesn't have the mental or physical aptitude to start in the NFL

don't get me wrong, it sucks for him where he was drafted, but he couldn't even beat out a 7th round project-player

Hmm ..... yet Dillard started last week and was the Eagles 3rd highest graded player, 2nd highest on offense.

Yeah, I know, DAL doesn't have any good players on defense.  I also already know if he plays well against KC that the narrative in here is the Chiefs don't have any good players on defense either.

Thought this was interesting.

Greg Ward really brought down the average.

They need an Oline badly

Sirianni seems like a great guy. And likeable. Definition of a guy I'd want to drink some beers with or shoot the ish with. I just see it less and less with him as a NFL HC.

Well it's pretty relevant.  It's real silly that the HC of an NFL team in the 5th largest TV market in the country talks about rock-paper-scissors and wears fan boy tee shirts.  Doesn't scream strength and leadership.

Rock paper scissors was weird but I didn't take it too seriously.   I don't think he's writing down in his scouting report how competitive a player was in RPC.  Who knows maybe he does.   The beat Dallas shirt I didn't like.  At least go out and do it first.  As far as his T shirts I don't think it's a big deal.  Not sure it needs daily or weekly reporting or coverage.

* The pick six was obviously a bad throw and read, but the route was telegraphed by the Eagles’ formation. I don’t recall why he said that.

I saw an interview with Diggs. That play was a staple at Alabama, and Diggs has seen Hurts and Smith run it quite a few time. So, something Smith did telegraphed it to him what route he was running, Diggs recognized the play from Alabama, and jumped it.

IOW, Hurts and Smith (both Alabama guys) probably would have gotten away with it, and it would have worked against any other corner... except Diggs was a 'Bama guy, too, and knew what was up.

3 weeks of the regular season so far.   He has room to grow into the job.  No reason to pass judgement on him yet.  The entire coaching staff is ridiculously young.  They need to grow into their new roles.  Gotta just be patient and see where it all leads.   My goals for the season have always been about improvement.  Improvement of individual players, and coaches.  I think part of the problem Sirianni is dealing with has a lot to do with the weakness of the roster overall.  AND... they are dropping like flies now.  3 starting OL out to start the game this week.  2 starting OL out to start the game last week.  Top DE and emotional leader gone from the defense.

I thought this was a weak roster before the season started.  It's not getting stronger.

I can agree with you but would like to see his offense with at least an average QB first before I can call him a failure.

Lurie’s line from the video where he offered Sirianni the job is ringing like an alarm right now: "We are so incredibly excited for the coach you are and the coach you can become.”

I don't see that as a big deal.  He's a first time HC.  He's not going to be the same guy in year 2 than he is in year 1, and hopefully by year 3 or 4, he's significantly better than game 1.

We don't expect a rookie stepping into the NFL to be the same player at the beginning of his career to be the same as he becomes, why would we expect a coach to be?

Not a big deal. Just perspective.

I can certainly be swayed, just my opinion is trending downwards. I'm not calling for his head just yet, he'll have at least the year to grow into the role. Just the play calling, the penalties, his approach in general. I didn't expect him to win anything out of the gate, I thought there was a good chance we'll be 0-3 right now. I hope I'm wrong obviously, but this far in, he just seems like a nice guy the players like but not really a coach that's going to lead them to anything. Also, with his type of approach as is, it just seems like once the injuries and losses start piling up, the players will quickly just start going through the motions and not really respond to anything.

I would also like to see competent QB play to at least see a competent offense. Premature, but he's just striking me as a guy whose probably better as an OC than a HC.

So has anyone waken up Green Day yet?

McLeod being active is huge. We might hold the Chiefs to under 50 now.

This is going to be the "Slay has been pretty good except for" game. They are probably also going to attack McLeod relentlessly.

Most underrated play in the Super Bowl by far.
