Frankly, if that is the case, which I am doubting, that might really help the team in the long haul.  He'll be suspended for a full year and they would be freed up from his cap number, because they could recoup that signing bonus and use that as a 'Get out of Jail free' card for Howie.   Suboptimal for sure, but not the worst outcome for the team for the future.  AND... they'd be able to keep Dillard at LT and put Mailata at RT immediately.

Yup.  Putting Dickerson at LG means he learns and plays there as long as he can.  No changes for him.  Best case scenario, really.

Well this is good for Jalen.  If he plays bad then you can just blame it on the O-line injuries and he didn't get a fair chance.
