Gannon is limiting big plays, but it's just death by a thousand cuts because the run D is so dreadful.  The LBs may as well be sat in the stands for all the good they do

Awful defense but 8/10 times if you want to have a chance against KC you need to put up 30+ and the red zone issues on offense are just brutal.

I get daring KC to run the ball. It’s one thing to have a light box and give up 5 yards a pop. We aren’t even close. Can’t give up 7 yards a run while not actually playing good pass D either. 

If you take this as hurts rookie year through 4 games he's 50/50 so far. 

If he improves over the next part of the season that's gonna be a difficult decision.

Id rather have the big play, they score anyway. Save the clock. At least with the long play if they mess up we have a chance at a turnover or getting off the field. Bend but don’t break doesn't work when you break every time.

It’s not a difficult call at all.  And why would we take this as his rookie year when it’s not his rookie year?

Oh, there's a point.  The QB needs to grow.  He gets opportunities to prove that he's progressing.

It’s not his rookie year, and he’s showing he’s limited 

Colts defense letting the Dolphins move right down the field two possessions in a row.
