No.  They let them play and the results of the play were that the receiver went out of bounds.  It's a 'flag', but with no yardage associated with it.    It's basically an incomplete pass.    The ruling was that the defender didn't interfere with the receiver any more than vice versa.

So, we all knew we would lose this game, no big deal there,  I just didn't realize how bad the KC defense was, almost as bad as ours. The difference, we played Mahommes, and they ran the ball, and they played Hurts and we still didn't run the ball.

Yeah it would have been a different game, except we had 3 TD's called back due to penalties.   Well thats on the coaches, because we have been a heavily penalized team all season so far. Hurts was better, but nothing to write home about. 

The best of this game:  The oline wasn't too bad considering we had one starter today, and Smith is the real deal. 

Long distance Take aways: Siriani has a long way to go, We need a new DC in the offseason, not impressed with Gannon's bend and break Defense. Franchise QB is priority #1 

BONUS:  HC's we always lose too: Andy Reid, Pete Carroll, and Sean Payton
