The redzone issues are so bizarre considering you have a decent starting RB with a good backup RB, a QB that excels at running the ball, and two of the better TE in the league

The TEs scored two TDs that were called back.  Ertz was overthrow for two others.  Execution.

I wouldn't expect to successfully run the ball at the goal line this week.

A positive from today is Reagor wasn't involved and I don't think even had a touch til the end of the game. If he did, it wasn't many. Phase him out, he sucks. Give all the balls to Smith and Watkins.

Didn't Smith step out of bounds in this game to negate a TD pass?  Why did Reagor catch all kinds of hell for doing it against the 49ers but Smith gets a pass for doing it today?

Odafe Oweh just had his 2nd sack of the year for the Ravens and looks like a force.  How can the Eagles continually fail at adding young, talented playmakers on defense?  I don't understand.

Think a little harder... you understand.

I'm looking forward to the draft. Possible 3 top ten picks. Although when the Colts are so far back they'll probably bench Wentz no matter how's he playing

But they dont want to RUN... see, not so bizarre

Four backups!

Sanders 7 for 13!

Why bother when your QB is doing a decent job of getting the ball to the RBs in the pass game.

Fair point

No.  They let them play and the results of the play were that the receiver went out of bounds.  It's a 'flag', but with no yardage associated with it.    It's basically an incomplete pass.    The ruling was that the defender didn't interfere with the receiver any more than vice versa.

I understand that.  It's the lack of how did the player get OOB that I find a bit weird  Yes the WR should do better ,but if there is enough contact for him to get pushed OOB, then killing the play at the point without considering a flag on the DB is weird. Other areas of the field aren't so arbitrary, OL can be 2m down field on a throw and it's let go.  A DB can have a little tug, it's let go. Russell Wilson can throw the ball away and it's let go. Etc

He fired Chip in 2015, he'll make a move if things get really embarrassing for him. He's proven that.

The issue is this one would involved moving his boy on outside of the organisation.  You can't retain Roseman again in that scenario.

What qualified GM is ever out there?

The best don't move. So you're talking assistants like Douglas.

Which is a crap shoot.

When Howie is fired, he will never be hired as a GM again.  He is trash.

I know, ugh.  I guess what I don't understand is why it's acceptable.

Didn't see anyone giving Smith a pass on that. Where are you reading that and from whom?

Think about who's making the picks, it will calm you down pretty quick.

Because it's Reagor, so any mistake is hyper inflated.

We won’t have 3 top 10 first round picks. Colts will bench Wentz if that’s the direction things are going. It’s most likely that Colts pick with be in a range of 14-25, or a high 2nd.

Watching the Ravens game. Hurts is a replica (less talented) Lamar Jackson.

Did he?  Or did people call him out on it, but have other things to talk about with him, whereas there was nothing else to discuss with Reagor that game?

Reagor in that game had 2 rec for 5 yards.

In this game, Smith had 7 rec for 122 yards.

Jets with an atrocious play-call.

True but last year restored some faith. Devonta and a first round pick next year.

Slower, less dangerous as a runner, junkier release, much weaker arm.  But plays the way Lamar Jackson plays.

With Reagor, it’s an ongoing theme. That’s why.

Just as long as we dont package any picks to move up and pick a QB from next year's class... Honeslty we shouldnt need to even if we go QB (I dont think any of them are better than the 5 best defensive players

They consider how the WR ended up OOB.  It is either "illegal contact" - 5 yard penalty, "defensive pass interference" - spot foul, or "no call" - incomplete pass.

They went with "no call", meaning Smith was as physical with the DB as the DB was with him.  So, they don't throw a flag on it.

I just want Thibodeaux in the draft next year, I have never wanted a defensive player more than I want him.

If you connect the dots, its likely because Lurie is getting input.  And if the report about them calling Andy Reid about Jalen Hurts has even an inkling of truth to it... then shame on ALL of them!   Fire them ALL.
