Wilson just gets down. 3 minutes ago, Desertbirds said: Universities have overspent on facilities (5 star dorms, climbing walls, etc.), but what they have really overspent on is administration. Secondary education is the same.

LOL. I'm just thinking of avenues the Ravens could take. JK Dobbins is going to be in year 3 coming off a torn ACL so you know they're going to have to look forward. Which teams are RB heavy? The Browns are spoiled at RB but I don't see them helping the Ravens at all.

Having a skill or skills is much more profitable. Thank God my Dad realized this and opened up his own small business just out of high school grew it and today none of us work. It's not a scam. People learn plenty in college. There's a question of return on investment but again many professions aren't available to people without a college degree. I mean many nursing degrees are 4 year programs. It doesn't mean people are smarter or more knowledgeable for getting one. It just means someone thinks they want to enter a certain field. Not everyone can rely on what the father did to support them. Most people have to earn their own livings and for many it's not a matter of just doing what makes them the most money.

September 9, 20214 yr Administratium New chemical Element Discovered The heaviest element known to science was recently discovered by investigators at a major U.S. research university. The element, tentatively named administratium, has no protons or electrons and thus has an atomic number of 0. However, it does have one neutron, 125 assistant neutrons, 75 vice neutrons and 111 assistant vice neutrons, which gives it an atomic mass of 312. These 312 particles are held together by a force that involves the continuous exchange of meson-like particles called morons. Since it has no electrons, administratium is inert. However, it can be detected chemically as it impedes every reaction it comes in contact with. According to the discoverers, a minute amount of administratium causes one reaction to take over four days to complete when it would have normally occurred in less than a second. Administratium has a normal half-life of approximately three years, at which time it does not decay, but instead undergoes a reorganization in which assistant neutrons, vice neutrons and assistant vice neutrons exchange places. Some studies have shown that the atomic mass actually increases after each reorganization. Research at other laboratories indicates that administratium occurs naturally in the atmosphere. It tends to concentrate at certain points such as government agencies, large corporations, and universities. It can usually be found in the newest, best appointed, and best maintained buildings. Scientists point out that administratium is known to be toxic at any level of concentration and can easily destroy any productive reaction where it is allowed to accumulate. Attempts are being made to determine how administratium can be controlled to prevent irreversible damage, but results to date are not promising.

Retired an executive for close to two decades. I tried on a bunch of majors along the way and have a bunch of minors as a result. But I worked my way through college and paid my room and board. (Best education I got was balancing my time.). A lot of time a degree is a foot in the door. It is all about what you do once you get your foot in the door. Both my kids had four years away from home and the full college experience. Some good and bad in that. Unless your parent can afford to fund that loan free (and not negatively impact their retirement funding as mine did), i would not recommend that. We need more Junior Colleges where students can live at home, work and go the first couple of years or get associate degrees. Problem I have with community colleges versus junior colleges is the qualifications of instructors. Easily fixed. But every department doesn’t need its own building which has 70% empty space.

Any knowledge you can learn now days online or at a library. I just don’t see the need to spend all that money on something you can learn on your own for nothing. I’m not against going to college but if your really dedicate yourself to learn something you can do it. 16 minutes ago, Alphagrand said: You're Eric Trump? Not that rich 😂

September 9, 20214 yr I'll school all of you in Tecmo. Granted I haven't played in many years, but yeah I said it.

September 9, 20214 yr Side note, I'm not a phone game guy, but you should check out Retro Bowl if you're a fan of Tecmo. Offense only and a bit different, but you have the draft, free agency, etc. Good time waster.

September 9, 20214 yr With all the injuries happening to Ravens today before they play week 1, you guys think they’ll end up picking in top 15 next year? Or should Lamar, Harbaugh, and the defense be enough to keep them in playoff contention?
