ESPN now is saying 4-8, rather than 6-8 like I saw in that tweet. And that he is getting surgery.

I think surgery provides a more reliable fix as far as making sure that tendon, or bone fragment is reliably tacked down. And a potentially quicker healing time.

Again, the drawback is that his finger will never, ever be the same again. But that doesnt necessarily mean itll interfere with his football career either. Id guess theyll err on the side of repairing it slightly more taught, knowing it will always lack a few degrees short of full flexion. And, you dont need full flexion to press that finger tip on the ball either.

I dont think itll take 8 weeks. Id guess surgery, immobilize for 4 weeks, and maybe some occupational therapy for a week or 2 to work on motion at that joint.

He already had surgery. Reportedly more complicated than they anticipated so they had to put in screws but no idea what that means in terms of recovery. Just what the reporters said.

Just out of curiosity, let's look at how the young Alabama & Oklahoma QBs are doing this season since these are the two linages that Jalen stakes claim to.

Baker (year 4): 65.5%, 935 yards, 2 TD, 2 INT, 89.7 QB rating, 59 rushing yards & 1 rushing TD.

Kyler (year 3): 76.1 %, 1,273 yards, 9 TD, 4 INT, 115.0 QB rating, 109 rushing yards & 3 rushing TDs.

Tua (year 2): 54.8%, 215 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT, 74.0 QB rating, 4 rushing yards & 1rushing TD.

Hurts (year 2): 66.2%, 1,167 yards, 7 TD, 2 INT, 101.1 QB rating, 226 yards & 1 rushing TD.

Mac Jones (year 1): 70.0%, 1,012 yards, 4 TD, 5 INT, 84.7 QB rating, 7 rushing yards & 0 TD.

A bunch of 5 yard passes and some awkward throwing for anything longer. Basically Jalen Hurts  2 decades ago.

We should be so lucky if Jalen could be the next Koy Detmer.

Guess the Raven's holder(s) should go to the HOF now as well since they have the most accurate kicker of all time?

And this is just untrue.  I'm watching now and and he is unleashing dragons as only he could.  He is murdering without a cause, just rampaging on defenses in this video.  The best part are replays that are from old school classic peak late 90s ESPN with Berman, Eisen and other's doing the voice over recap of Koy's art in motion.

How long has he been with Tucker?  How has Tucker been with him compared to without him?  Have the Ravens ever cut a player to bring that holder out of retirement to hold in the playoffs and go onto hold the playoff game winning field goal in frigid outdoor conditions?  Yeah I think not.

Would be an improvement on his current play

Hearing that old explosion and guitar riff they used to do after the Eagles scored and I have no idea why they got rid of that.  Lurie needs to bring that back.  People obviously get hype after a score but that always got people more hype, just the nature of it.  And the only time you heard it was after a score so it was associated with when a good feeling of a score would hit.

His injury during his heroic 49ers MNF game in 2002 is the most devastating sports injury to me.  Completely shifted NFL history.  If he doesn't get injured then the Eagles go onto win the Super Bowl.  He continues to play so well that Donovan never sees the field again that season.  It should have been his Kurt Warner moment but instead it was his Carson Wentz moment.

The question is whether Sirianni will end up getting rid of Miles too early like Chip did with McCoy.

Been away for most of the week. So it’s been reported that Sirianni ripped the Defense most specifically Gannon. It talks about Cox and Slay being used in the wrong way.

Also Sirianni teaching the WRs how to use speed to get off the line by watching Allen Iverson crossover vids. I don’t see how it works but hopefully it does.

Eh. Miles could go. Nothing special. He’s easily replaceable.

Running backs are replaceable but he should be at least used while he is here.  He is one of the biggest big play threats at RB in the league.  He just needs the touches.  I could see Sirianni hardly using him this year and he demands a trade by deadline or after the season and goes on to kill it for a few years somewhere else.

Davante Adams, among many other receivers, use basketball movements for their releases. It’s not a radical thing.

It's definitely a relatable move so yea, no issue using that.  If a WR can mimic AI's quickness to beat a CB that would be great.  He should just start showing Hunter Renfro routes.

I'd be worried if he was showing Gordon Bombay doing a triple deke.
