Bama OL is just not as good as in years past 

Alabama has no business being #2 after that loss, they should fall to about 8 and have to climb the ladder again.  Of course, that won't happen just as they shouldn't have been in the National Championship game when they didn't even finish first in their own conference... actually, they failed to finish first in their division within the conference.  But, Alabama is always given opportunities that other schools never are... because they are Alabama.  That's the biggest problem with the NCAA... they don't compete on a level playing field.  It is always tilted.

It should always be 8. UCF in their first undefeated year could have beaten any of the top 4 teams.

With that performance? They were completely outclassed by a mid-level contender. They actually should drop.

I think we matchup well with the Panthers given their LB and CB injuries. We should be able to beat their blitz packages with screens. On defense, we can still play 2 high because their OL won't punish our DL.

We win by 7 in an upset.

Not sure I agree. We use Kelce in a particular way because he's capable of it but he is a unique player. Most centers play A gap to A gap and in that style Dickerson would be more effective. Having a monster like that to do combo blocks with either guard is very appealing. But do not expect him to get out on sweeps and OZs; that's not his game. If, however, you want a C who can really move, then Driscoll or Seumalo or that kid from Iowa, Lindebaum, would be a much better fit. Lindebaum is about as close to Kelce as you can get, similarly undersized but very smart and agile. We run a lot of power, meaning an OL pulls and leads the RB on almost every inside run. Driscoll would be a much better fit for that and Dickerson would be a helluva pivot blocking down while G pulls around. 

Jets will get blown out if their offense doesn’t get moving.

I really don't like Hurts as a starting QB in the NFL and want no parts of him as our starting QB.  But...I have to say; I like the alternatives even less.

I don't like 3 first round picks for Watson.  I don't like using a first on any college QB this year.

Even though I will constantly make a point of noting that Hurts is not the guy, I'm not sure there is a better option for 2022.

What I would do...make a draft day trade to roll some capital into 2023, either our 2022 2 for a 2023 1, or trading down in round 1 and capturing another 2023 1.  But still use 3 firsts to stack up the team next April.  Use a 3rd or 4th round pick to draft a lottery ticket, bigger QB with a bigger arm.  Then hope for an upgrade opportunity in 2023, either via draft or a vet franchise QB that wants to come here to play for a now-talented team.
