Can't wait for the Eagles twitter feed to be full of the outfits the Eagles players are wearing accompanied by horrible slang written by the Philly beat.

I really don't like Hurts as a starting QB in the NFL and want no parts of him as our starting QB.  But...I have to say; I like the alternatives even less.

I don't like 3 first round picks for Watson.  I don't like using a first on any college QB this year.

Even though I will constantly make a point of noting that Hurts is not the guy, I'm not sure there is a better option for 2022.

What I would do...make a draft day trade to roll some capital into 2023, either our 2022 2 for a 2023 1, or trading down in round 1 and capturing another 2023 1.  But still use 3 firsts to stack up the team next April.  Use a 3rd or 4th round pick to draft a lottery ticket, bigger QB with a bigger arm.  Then hope for an upgrade opportunity in 2023, either via draft or a vet franchise QB that wants to come here to play for a now-talented team.

This is where I'm at, too. I will say though, depending on how the picks land, we could still add a QB (assuming the love a guy) and add some premier talent to our team. Could always trade our later of the 3 firsts down a few spots to pick up more picks, too.

That good?

didn’t watch but reading about it this morning says it was quite a fight

Hard for me to take Fury seriously as a champion; always carries a big spare tire into every fight.  Wilder is an ideal opponent for him because he wings away with a big right hand and does nothing else.

The best athletes don’t really get into boxing anymore, but I suspect it won’t be very long before Fury loses his lineal titles.

I know nothing about boxing, but it does feel like he's literally the poster child for the best athletes not being in boxing anymore.  However, everyone says he's just such a superior pure boxer to the competition.  If that's true, then he's probably not the kind of champ that will get caught sleeping and lose the titles quickly and unexpectedly.

This Hayden Hurst has a fumbling hobby

So do they go Dillard/Mailata LT/RT?

I'm looking forward to seeing that.  The OL is down to 1 holdover, Kelce, that they cannot move forward with.  If they look good now, then it's promising.

Zach Wilson is as rough as Josh Allen in their respective rookie years. What are the odds Wilson can improve as dramatically?

Defenses still can win SBs so they could just build up the team and use Hurts or Minshew for now until they find a QB. Problem with that is when they're ready for a QB they're likely not picking top 5 or even top 10

So is being down 20-9 with 8 min to go considered garbage time too? Because now the jets are within 3 with 6:50 to go. Or is that just during Eagles games when people are just trying to hate on Hurts?

No, because down 2 scores in the 4th quarter is still a winnable game. Teams playing "prevent" to burn clock will inflate some stats though.

I asked because the Eagles were within 1 score with the same amount of time and people called me dumb for saying that wasn’t garbage time.

They were wrong 🙂

Only garbage time stats was against Dallas.

Well, for the first time in a while, Panthers tix were hard to get. So, I decided to not go (I live in Charlotte).

But, gorgeous day in NC and I still have a pretty good view.

Zach Wilson doesn't have much to work with

His o line is pretty bad, probably worst running game in the league, not many receiving threats, Corey Davis isn't a number 1.

Sadly a lot of rookie QBs get thrown Into similar situation, if Wilson can weather the storm until he gets more help he might have a chance if not he'll go the way of many rookie QBs drafted to really bad teams.

Zach Wilson sucks looks like Bo Nix yesterday,  imagine we drafted him and he pulled that lmao

At least Pitts finally had a good game

The score was 42-23 on the TD drive. That’s garbage time. The closest the offense had the ball the score was 35-23 and that was the drive Hurts threw it away on 4th down.

Everything but the last Eagles drive was not garbage time. If Eagles score on the throw away 4th down drive then we answer and are back to within 5 with a possession still to go.

Which game are you referring to?

Against San Fran we were down two touchdowns with under 5 minutes to play and no time outs. To that point, we had scored 3 points. We scored and never saw the ball again. That last drive we went on is garbage time. Had he done that...IDK...any other time in the game, we might be having another conversation.

Essentially all of his stats against Dallas were garbage time.

The last drive where we scored against KC was all garbage time as we were down 19.

Yes, but they didn’t. That’s why everyone is calling the 75 yard TD drive garbage time. The only other full drive in the 4th was the turnover on downs down by 12. It’s not exactly garbage time but that wasn’t even a great statistical drive anyway. They only moved 40 yards.
