If players don't fear discipline, they won't do the little things right.  It's on the coaches and senior players to make everyone accountable.

If Ward is COACHED to turn back and look for the ball, he would still achieve the pick effect AND do so without penalty.

Difference between us and teams we play, except for the KC game, we play a defense who doesn't let you just throw it to wide open downfield throws. And our defense always allows this.  

Soft defense can't tackle and stop the run. 

 

Good thing we did Zero practices with tackling this summer and kept them nice and short at 60-70 minutes since that's what the players like.

True but the 2 WR out of bounds plays were by inches, not really an advantage because of penalty, just bad route running and on the WR interference, they just aren't doing it right.  You can WR picks all day long if they know how to do it.  This is where Sirianni, an ex-WR and WR coach is failing even more.
