No.  That's where the holes are, as you see... but the running back has to know that he needs to go down before hitting the sideline.  They are gaining yards.  Running up the gut for 0 yards 3 times doesn't help.

At least Siri took his dumb ass out of the game.  He should be benched next game.  Play Gainwell and Scott/Howard.  Send a message.

The center is stuffed with defenders...  it's the right play, but Sanders has to cut it up field to be sure of staying in bounds...

Because the middle was clogged.  And it worked.  The issue was being too dumb to know to not get that last yard or two and just hit the ground in bounds.
