Gainwell has been fairly impressive when called upon early in his career.

OMG Sanders

Seriously, that was inexcusable bad. Watch Gainwell start next week

Sure.   It was good to see that they kept fighting, even after that bad ending on the 4th down late.  The D came out and got the stop that was needed, and TJ Edwards made the play of the game.  Without that, I doubt they move the ball down the field for the TD.

Thursday night is going to be ugly though.

We went unbalanced left and i think they stacked to that side

Exactly. I don't get it.

Feels like the type of win that fans are going to lament in January when the Eagles are fighting for draft position.

Make no mistake, the Eagles were less awful today than Carolina, that's it. This team is dreadful.

Strange strange win and now we gotta play Tampa on Thursday

I can’t believe it wasn’t mentioned on the broadcast. Forward progress was OBVIOUSLY stopped.

Just a bad, bad miss.

Hurts with another stat padding game. He may win MVP on paper

Well, that's a nice win...  Hurts played much better that half, made some nice throws, and some nice decisions...

Not gonna stick around to listen to "Hurts still sucks, but Darnold is worse", etc, etc...

What a lousy bunch of fans some of you guys are...  more interested in wanting a guy to fail, than hoping he succeeds...

Amazing catch by Cobb

New coach with three straight losses. He needed it.

Also true... but frankly, those situations shouldn't be left up to the officials.  Fall down in bounds.

Stupid win

Poorly coached, low football IQ, self-inflicting errors, Stone Age offense, just a frustrating team to watch. Credit to the defense and ST for single handedly taking that game. They earned it.

Driscoll started at RG. No idea why Herbig is in though

Probably cuz they figured they should run it to keep clock moving

You are delusional.

Sure is. Going to cost them in the draft and gives Howie and Hurts life when they don't deserve it. They both need to go but as long as they win these BS games that change won't be forced to happen and that is the only way it will ever happen. It will have to be forced.

Super sad you’d make excuses vs giving him credit for winning the game.

I think Sirianni was dreadful today and he should thank Gannon for bailing his ass out. One of the worst coaching performances I've ever seen from Sirianni. Their best plays at the end that were on offense were Jalen Hurts reads.

Oh my god!!

Someone with an actual honest take...

Some of these guys hate Hurts so much, that they can't see straight...  he's their QB, but they WANT him to fail NOT succeed...

DG should have caught it, yes...but it's an actual honest take to critique Hurts on his continual inability to select the right pitch speed and see that there wasn't anyone in the same zip code as his target as well.  He went on to run it in next play then make a great play on the 2 point conversion.  So the end result was a positive.

It was by design. Both tackles on the left they anticipates run left not right

I understand those in the "draft position" crowd, but it's week 5. The development of players MATTERS. You don't want to be the Lions, Jags, Jets, etc. Getting guys to play hard all the time is important. Getting a W makes it easier to coach guys up.

*Yes we should still be sellers*

I’m just so confused with the play calling. He was hitting guys in the middle of the field, and that 2 PT conversion was an elite play, but 2 YPA for the first half is problematic. That can’t be ignored.

No it isn't. It's a horrible win that hurts them in the draft and gets idiots talking about how well Hurts played. He sucks. Period. He is not a starting QB in this league that has a shot of actually winning anything. I want him to fail because he sucks and I want him to fail miserably and as fast as possible so they can move on in a direction that will actually be worth something. He has no shot of success.

As a North Carolinian, I'm stoked to beat the Panthers.

Took a lot of flak from friends and coworkers this week.
