For some, perhaps.  But, that year, Brandon Graham was a guy I really wanted and am glad we ended up with him.   Meanwhile, Jefferson is the guy I was beating the drum for that draft.  And Howie crapped the bed.

I’m with you on Graham. He was my guy after the Senior Bowl.

In that era you never, EVER spend a first AND second round draft pick on a 5’10” sophomore safety.

Jones just got concussed... running.

Folks... the idea that running QBs are the future of the NFL just doesn't hold water.

UGH, Jabril Cox, please don't remind me he's a Cowboy.  Here we are just excited that Davion Taylor made a single tackle.

Lamb was... but the issue isn't that we didn't get Lamb.  The issue is that we did get Reagor.  The problem wasn't winning an extra game.  The problem was still the scouting department.

And Kadarius Toney is doing more in this game for the Giants than I've seen Reagor ever do in a game.  Granted, the Giants should have gone OL... but Toney has talent.

I thought Reagor was a Howie/Lurie thing. Pretty sure I read and heard the scouting dept had Jefferson rated higher than Reagor.
Toney will be better than Reagor, though it won't take much to best him. He will be a bust

Jones staggers and stumbles to huddle after hit to head. Gonna get yanked

Danny dimes is hurt

That looks like a really bad concussion. Hate to see that happen to anyone.

I wanted one of the 3 of Lamb/Jeudy/Ruggs, but would of been completely fine with Jefferson.

So since I couldn't watch can someone give me a quick recap?

We won. 👍

No crap

Offense was horrible for 7/8 of the game. Defense got 3 picks and ST got a blocked punt leaving offense short field for game winning TD. Darnold is horrible. Carolina wins with a competent QB.

Defense got 3 picks, including one late that all but sealed the game. Special teams got a punt block that set us up on their 27 and down by 5.

Siri still won't run the ball, until late in the game, and Miles twice went out of bounds when we needed to run the clock out. Hurts was ok late, but is still inconsistent.

When I say scouting, I am referring to Howie.   He's the head of the scouting department... pro and college, etc.  It is on him.

I agree on Toney not going to be great, but we can't laugh at the Giants' drafting... when the are drafting the way they do.   Not exactly laughing from a position of strength.

Hargrave looked good as well.

Yes, yes he did. And Cox finally got a sack.

Garbage play by the offense the entire first half.  If not for the turnovers and blocked punt, the Eagles lose this game... big.    And even so, had the Panthers been able to land on the bad snap in the end zone, the Eagles still lose this game.  Hurts didn't handle that well... just fall on it and secure the safety rather than leave it there for the potential TD.

He’ll be 30 entering free agency, I’m glad it was just a 3 year

If he keeps turning into the player it looks like that he is then I'm betting you won't feel that way when it comes time for him to hit free agency after next year.  Better to have him on 2 more years of a deal signed two off-seasons ago than have to pay him a huge deal or watch him walk in his prime after next season.

Nick Bosa with 5 sacks on the year. He’s my early favorite to win DPOTY

That's why if the Eagles are in a position to be sellers at the deadline, he might be one of the players that make the most sense.  Someone might pay a pretty penny for him.  Please, no one take this as I want to trade the Eagles best player.  I'm not saying that.  Big picture thinking.

Due to his deal and age I would agree with selling him but it would have to be more than just a 1st.

Two linebackers, Cox was there for so long too. Easily could've had him. No excuse

Hargrave with 6.
