That play looked a lot like Hollywood... trying to get a shovel pass to Hill... but they got the TD on a simple rollout.

Not sure why the roll out isn't more a part of the Eagles' RZ offense...

He would have had a TD... except our WRs can't run a rub route properly.

Stop running them is the solution. Smith and Goedert can get open without them.

That was a more varied throw chart than it felt like during the game.

Half of his completions under 5 yards lol.

I can't see Hurts for anything other than Hurts.  The fact that the QB pool looks weak this year in the draft... and that I hate the idea of the trade for a QB... doesn't change the fact that Hurts' improvement (if there is any) has been very slow.  That throw today... 🤦‍♂️. how do you throw a free play out of bounds?  That's like throwing the ball away on 4th and goal...  Hurts can run.  But, it seems to me, any time he doesn't run he can't throw.  Once he starts to run more, he throws better.   Maybe that's the key.  Get his legs involved and his arm will follow.  I don't know.  I don't like that type of offense and I don't like the overly weighted horizontal throws.  The middle of the field still seems rather voided in terms of targets.

Bad play by Mahomes... running around and just slid down?  I guess he was afraid of the OL going down field and that's why he didn't just throw it out the back of the End Zone.  Seemed an unnecessary hit to take.

Don’t disagree. I think you know I have extreme doubts about Hurts and only hopes. Now as to the free play, the way the Eagles have been getting penalized this year, I worry that with a call like a push off on Ward by the DB with the ball in the air turns out to be OPI instead of illegal contact or DPI, would make any of us worry that the flag was for something on the offense, not offsides and then not a free play. That said, the mechanics on that throw were horrible.

Both DEs were offsides, he saw it, he knew it and he directed traffic... and then unleashed a turdball.

Still too much Wilson

Take away the deep ball to Watkins.  He was 21/36 for 150ish yards.

It took him until the end of the 3rd quarter to get over 100

Greg Ward had 8 snaps... Still managed to get an OPI.  And, he was on the field for that 3rd and then 4th down in 12 personnel.

I didn’t focus on him too much today, but it seems like Dillard has been holding his own pretty well. Rough game from Mailata on the right side, but that was somewhat expected making the switch.

Bench Reagor for the next first quarter.

when almost half of your completions are behind the line of scrimmage that's bad...very bad.  Not only that but 5 of them are 5 yards+ behind the LOS.  You want to advance the ball up the field Nick.

Why would you say that?  He got beat for one sack.  The rest of the negatives weren't really on him.  He was fine for his first action back from the MCL, and he's still learning how to play OL.  That move from Reddick was pretty sweet.

Not noticing Dillard is a great thing at this point IMO.  That tells me he's doing his job.  Mailata got abused.  It's to be seen what he actually can be at RT with a few more games and a healthy knee but today was not the day.

Makes for an interesting situation based on Dillards performance at LT. Do Eagles trade him in March, or keep him around at LT and develop Mailata as the RT?

I wouldn't say nearly that.

2 whipped eggs, a cup of bread crumbs.  Was worried putting it together that it wouldn't hold.  Worked perfect though!

Used my seven in one air fryer for a rotisserie chicken today.  Used a buttermilk brine.  Turned out real nice.  Crispy skin on a rotisserie chicken is a first for me.  (Figured the wife needed a break from my end of the season pepper harvest cooking.)   Curious, what is the stuffed pepper on your plate?

That's a huge dip in snaps for him though so trending in the right direction.  Taylor had almost as many.  Not enough snaps for Milton Williams.  He shouldn't have the same snap count as Ridgeway.  I'd like to Fletcher's snap count come down and let Williams take some from him.

It also just feels like the Eagles are going the opposite direction of the way the NFL is trending with wide open offenses.

Ward and JJAW only played a combined 12 snaps so essentially they are running a 3 WR offense, which matches what they do on defense by never going Dime.  Are the Eagles just beyond vanilla right now?

No.  They are so close.  I thought the JJAW call last week was close and I saw more illegal contact from the DB than OPI from Ward this week. I love well executed rubs, legal picks and mesh routes. I have patience as they learn what they never got under Pederson. Goedert’s awful drop is why they run these.  The drag route to Smith on the two point conversion was a thing of beauty.

Interesting piece from that snap count update... Apparently, Dickerson wasn't in for the final drive.  Missed 11 snaps.  Herbig got them.

Too often Nick does very little to make Hurts’ job easier.

Maybe don’t call a play that isn’t so easily read.   Reagor’s effort is the smaller problem when every other defender also knows the play.

Let me say abused compared to my expectations and what he's capable of.  Holding penalty and Riddick blowing by him stick in my head.  You can tell he's nursing his knee a bit and the brace clearly effected some of his mobility.  He should only get better at RT with experience and health.

It was also eye opening when they would show the Eagles walking to the LOS from the end zone camera to see the how big Mailata looked on the right side compared to a "normal" sized tackle in Dillard on the left.

@LeanMeanGM Bucs 51, Eagles 20

Gronk 3 TDs

The hold was when he didn't disengage as Hurts left the pocket.  The Reddick play you are referring to, the entire OL didn't move on the snap.   He got beat on one great move by Reddick slapping his arms straight down.
