Gronk 3 TDs

Gronk has been out with broken ribs , so are 2 of their starting CBs and Winfield ,  that said I would bet Gronk is back this week .

No.  They are so close.  I thought the JJAW call last week was close and I saw more illegal contact from the DB than OPI from Ward this week. I love well executed rubs, legal picks and mesh routes. I have patience as they learn what they never got under Pederson. Goedert’s awful drop is why they run these.  The drag route to Smith on the two point conversion was a thing of beauty.

I think it’s just not effective when the refs are keying on it.  It’s just runs a risk of getting the wrong call. Refereeing is not good and more often than not they seem to just key on calls with certain plays.

Yup Gronk will be back this week

No need to rush him back.

Howie should strike while the iron is hot. Call the Chiefs tonight with Slay coming off a 2 INT game and try to get a 3rd from the Chiefs for him.

He also has a punctured lung.

I see tons of praise from the Philly beat for Fletcher Cox today.  Yea, he showed up finally but isn't it funny that he shows up and has his best game, ONLY after hearing the critics this past week?  I feel he has a little Ben Simmons in him in that he can dominate if he wants to.  You heard about his motor during training camp and how when he wants to he can turn it on and be unstoppable.  That's been a problem the last few years. A player of his caliber shouldn't need any extra motivation.  He should go out and dominate every week.

Not noticing Dillard is a great thing at this point IMO.  That tells me he's doing his job.  Mailata got abused.  It's to be seen what he actually can be at RT with a few more games and a healthy knee but today was not the day.

WTF game were you watching?  Dickerson had the worst game on OL and Driscoll occasionally got pushed back. Mailata absolutely killed a couple of Panther defenders.  Dillard played a real good game.

10 for 25 on throws past 5 yards

He continues to not be able to work the middle of the field in the 10 to 20 yard range. That's the place where legit NFL QBs can make throws in between safeties and LBs. He wants to throw outside.  A NFL QB has to be able to work all areas of the field and especially the middle.

I already called out Dickerson for having a bad game.  I also explained my thoughts on Mailata above.  I have a few bad plays in my head and those are what he got abused on.

Definitely in bounds. Chiefs almost got screwed there.

Punctured lung takes more than a week to heal.

Reid should know better though. Gotta be in Mahomes' ear and let him know to take as long as he can to give the officials enough time to get the review call in.

You think he forgot about last week?

Mailata got beat on those 2 back to back sacks. I thought he struggled at times with Reddick too.  He played fairly well given his knee.  I thought Driscoll got beat on some stunts too.

Yup.  No need to rush that play in with the clock stopped.

Maybe you didn't see it on the replay in the stadium.  On that second play, Kelce snapped the ball and no one on the OL moved but him.  That wasn't on Mailata.  That was on the snap count.  Something was off there.

Makes for an interesting situation based on Dillards performance at LT. Do Eagles trade him in March, or keep him around at LT and develop Mailata as the RT?

I don’t think Lane has that much more of a future with this team, so it might be best to hold onto him and see how versatile Mailata can be.

I didn’t see that at all.  I was too mad that they didn’t run it the play before.

Man, officials calling some questionable OPI this year.  Gordon was being engaged by the DB, who didn’t get his hands down at five yards and that DB ran into the other DB, not Gordon.  Two hands by the DB.  How is that not illegal contact?

That isn’t my definition of "abused”.

Understandable.

Yea that was a weird call.
