I don’t think Lane has that much more of a future with this team, so it might be best to hold onto him and see how versatile Mailata can be.

Definitely seems serious, sucks. I want Jordan at LT and would rather draft a new RT

Bucs - 47

Eagles - 16

The line at FanDuel is 6.5(!!!!!!!!) right now.

Chiefs are not close to the same team they were the last cpl years

that div will be Chargers to win

A few more things...

 - The 25 yard pass to Anderson on their last drive was a blessing.  Helped get the clock down to 2 minutes before Nelson's INT.  If they don't hit on that, they probably punt and our final drive looks much more difficult.

 - Our fans travel really well.  I also know that there are several fans in the region.  But still, there are times it's hard to tell if we are really on the road.

 - Greg Olson is pretty good at being an analyst.

Man, officials calling some questionable OPI this year.  Gordon was being engaged by the DB, who didn’t get his hands down at five yards and that DB ran into the other DB, not Gordon.  Two hands by the DB.  How is that not illegal contact?

Not just OPI. They've been bad all over since week 1

Yup...love all the analysts that said the Chiefs would win the next 5 SBs (looking at you Colin Cowherd)

Count me as a Rashawn Slater fan

I liked Slater a lot in the draft. If the Eagles had drafted him, I wouldn't have complained but I know a lot of fans would've bellyached about it.  I'm happy with Devonta though, too. I'm glad the Giants didn't get him, although I am surprised that Toney has looked as good as he has the past couple of weeks.

Interesting piece from that snap count update... Apparently, Dickerson wasn't in for the final drive.  Missed 11 snaps.  Herbig got them.

There’s nothing official but he apparently got dinged up with something. He was on the sideline without a helmet.

With all the O-line injuries last year, I thought he was going to be our 1st round pick.

Yup kids gonna be a stud. He was was really good  in that game and all season so far. Slater in the first and Samuel at corner in the second have been great.

Too often Nick does very little to make Hurts’ job easier.

Maybe don’t call a play that isn’t so easily read.   Reagor’s effort is the smaller problem when every other defender also knows the play.

I think it speaks to a bigger problem. When the ball isn’t designed to come to him you see minimal effort. This isn’t the first time either. And when he does get the ball he tries too hard to make a play. Like twice today taking a kick 4 or 5 yards deep in the end zone out.

Was really high on him on draft day.

Super bowl hangover is real for the SB loser.

Josh Allen has 7 completions and 219 yards. Must be nice.

I actually enjoyed Olsen being as flabbergasted about Sanders going out of bounds as much as I was. Helped hammer home the point and it was relatable listening to his confusion. Especially when he said, "You gotta pull him”.

Part of it. However their defense is absolutely atrocious. Even without the super bowl loss this defense is just not that good. They are ranked 31st. I wouldn’t be surprised if spags gets fired before the end of the year.

Eagles lines have been real weird so far

So our defense...

42 ppg against really good qbs

14 ppg against the ones that aren't

28th ranked pass defense for ya

Yea that was a weird call.

Same happened with JJAW last week and very similar with Ward this week. Absolutely on all these plays, they were designed to obstruct the DB but legally.

ARTICLE 3. ILLEGAL CONTACT BEYOND FIVE-YARD ZONE. Beyond the five-yard zone, if the player who receives the snap remains in the pocket with the ball, a defender cannot initiate contact with a receiver who is attempting to evade him. A defender may use his hands or arms only to defend or protect himself against impending contact caused by a receiver.
Note: If a defender contacts a receiver within the five-yard zone and maintains contact with him, he must release the receiver as they exit the five-yard zone. If the defender maintains contact beyond five yards, it is illegal contact.

But

ARTICLE 2. PROHIBITED ACTS BY BOTH TEAMS WHILE THE BALL IS IN THE AIR. Acts that are pass interference include, but are not limited to:
(a) Contact by a player who is not playing the ball that restricts the opponent’s opportunity to make the catch;
(b) Playing through the back of an opponent in an attempt to make a play on the ball;
(c) Grabbing an opponent’s arm(s) in such a manner that restricts his opportunity to catch a pass;
(d) Extending an arm across the body of an opponent, thus restricting his ability to catch a pass, and regardless of whether the
player committing such act is playing the ball;
(e) Cutting off the path of an opponent by making contact with him, without playing the ball

So, clearly in all three cases, the receivers blocked the defender and there was contact but I would argue that the defender initiated the contact against Gordon and initiated the contact with Ward.  In fact, with Gordon, I am not convinced Gordon made contact as opposed to the DB who had two hands on Gordon backed into his teammate.  Seems to be a concentration this year but the calls I have seen have ignored the illegal contact.

Could do the offense too.

against Dallas, panthers and niners we weren’t very good.

against the chiefs and falcons (bad defenses) we look good.

Giants are 10.5 points underdogs at home vs the Rams.

That seems as impossible as 10 for 34 yards or whatever it was at the half
