It was "forward" by definition.  The momentum of the ball was forward, it was basically released by Leonard, and moved forward until Rodgers came forward to meet it.

It wasn't.  The refs are just morons.

Call was still weak as hell. Russell Wilson does that all the time

I didn’t love Herbert when he came out. I’ve said that on here. I thought he’d be ok. I didn’t ever see him being this good. I also didn’t see lamar being as good as he is even with his running style at QB.

i could be 100 percent wrong on trey lance. I thought cause he went to the niners he’d have shanahan and be really good. He looked awful on Sunday. I get first nfl game and game experience in a long time but he looked afraid to make throws

He barely played in college, a Division 1 team wanted him to switch to safety, he’s got a long way’s to go, definitely not ready yet.  Andy probably would of sat him the entire year.

Didn't realize former Eagle great Haloti Ngata was inducted in to the Ravens ring of honor tonight.

Nice pass!!!

It was, because it isn't about where the players are when the ball is released, it's about where the ball is from release to catch.  It moved forward, but its a ticky tack call, and if not for checking the fumble, they likely don't review it at all.  That was called because the fumble was so close and they likely would not have overturned it if he was ruled "down by contact" on the field.

Yeah he needs to sit and learn. The fact he basically missed all 2020 Playing due to covid doesn’t help. Watching that game after his early interception he really didn’t want to throw the ball. if you watch the Cardinal secondary cause they were down some guys they were giving cushion to Deebo Samuel all game long. And he just would refuse to throw the ball and take off

Agreed 100%.  But, according to the letter of the rule, it was the correct call.   But, only enforced because of the fumble being so close.  Notice they called that "stands" not "confirmed", so they went with the ticky tack call to help Baltimore.

Baltimore fans screaming, because they don't know that the elbow is the same as a knee.

Yup, eagles got Haloti about 3 seasons too late.

He played highschool down the street from where I grew up.

Every time Wentz dives forward like that I think of his career changing doing the same against the Rams.

What are you talking about?  That was a great signing by Howie.

Damn Reich running the ball, Does he not know Howie and Jeff hate that?

Maybe not THE reason, but he was A reason.

Missed Gainwell and Ertz on consecutive plays in the fourth quarter.  Without the punt block, we may not have been able to drive the field to score.

He also didn't pull the ball in the read option until the fourth quarter, which showed to be effective when he did.

He has some things going for him, but still not playing near a franchise QB level.

Gainwell wasn’t open but the throw was bad. I was frustrated they didn’t just run the ball to make the fourth down shorter. It seemed to me to be a good opportunity to spread them out and hand it off to Gainwell.  The Ertz throw was off.

Hurts has a ways to go.  I do think he has potential. If they do end up with 3 first round picks I think the team should lean towards taking position players.  I mean getting a difference maker at DE, the secondary or at LB would be better long-term than potentially wasting a pick for what might not be an upgrade.

I think Hurts is a guy you want around your team... and in a backup QB role.  I don't see him as a long term starter.

That said, I don't think the long-term answer at QB is available in this draft either... so...

I liked the design at least

Andy Reid ingrained play.

Wow did Wentz just throw the ball away?  It's like seeing Bigfoot or something.

It's not about how 'far' he can throw it, its about the trajectory he needs to throw it that far.   Throwing it at a higher angle gets it further, but adds time to the flight of the ball.  Hurts doesn't have the ability to throw a flat, deep ball.  Only rainbows.

No QB would have thrown that ball deep without a big arc except maybe Allen.

Quite the vocal F Bomb there lol

Mighty fine offensive scheme Reich and Co. rolled out tonight.

Teams are figuring out the Ravens offense, and their defense isn’t nearly as good as past years

I haven't watched a Colts game this year... Reich seems to have done a nice job rebuilding Wentz's confidence and helped him get back to where he was pre-2020.   He still makes some bad plays, but seems to be doing very well in that Indy system.

Losing Reich still stings so much.
