I have a feeling the jags beat the dolphins in that game. It’s over in London and brissett has been as bad as tua. Dolphins are favored but that’s a game where the jags have the better QB and robinson, jones and shenault could actually wind up winning that game.

Titans aren’t that good and the division stinks. No way I can see Wentz staying healthy and the division sealed 3/4 of the season down.

I just can't see them sitting him the last 4-5 games. That's a lot of games he can use to get right for the following year. 

Also I'm sure Wentz would like to screw Howie over but, I doubt that's in the minds of their FO. They do what's best for them, not worry about being petty in honor of Wentz. 

I believe that the Eagles will be stuck in this rut unless either Howie is fired or they get get an elite QB.

These draft picks are the key to getting the latter. Whether it is in 2022, 2023, or beyond. If they F it up, this franchise will be in the dark ages for quite some time.

The Colts have got to start winning games. Wentz played extremely well tonight and no way can Reich bench him.

I tend to think the eagles are going to beat eitherraiders or broncos, giants, Washington, jets, lions to get them to 7 wins. They might sweep the giants to get to 8. I don’t think we are going to finish top 8. I see them likely 10-13 range.

Bad news. There isn’t any elite QBs this upcoming draft. I love Ridder but he’s not a first rounder. Not yet at least.

It's an awful QB draft and 2023 doesn't look so hot either tbh. It's why I think it should still be Watson or bust.

I don’t even know if they would call it a bench. I think it would be if they are eliminated from playoff contention (not likely in that division) they say he’s been dealing with a bigger injury to his ankles then what was led on and we want him to rest instead of making it worse since they have nothing to play for. 

that said i don’t see them being out of contention. They have a nice schedule coming up. They go 4-1 or 5-0 they could be sitting at 6-4 or 5-5.

Amongst other reasons, this is another reason why there’s so much speculation that lurie will go out and trade for watson or Wilson if they became available.

Professional teams aren’t going to bench a performing QB to preserve a draft pick. In the first place, such lack of integrity and frankly, bad faith performance of a deal would make other teams wary of ever agreeing to a conditional pick with that team ever again.  This belief that the Colts would bench Carson with a fourth of the season to go because of a record that would likely result in a lack of a playoff berth is myopic paranoia at best.

Second, if they are losing for reasons other than Carson, which is the case at this point, and given that being benched led to Carson seeking a new landing place this year, benching and impacting the psyche of your starting QB with a fourth of a season to play is a bad idea.  Now if Carson is bellyflopping that may change the scenario or if Carson has missed time so the benching is only the last game or two with the Colts out of contention, that might change what Carson will accept but after 5 games with decent Carson performance and close to 100% of the available snaps, the other scenarios aren’t available at this time which sheds real doubt on a QB benching.

My biggest fear is the Eagles get a top 5pick and we get Rattler 🤮
