October 12, 20213 yr Urban Meyer needs to send Gruden a gift basket cause Urban just dodged a bullet man

Sesame Street employed a gay writer who said he wrote dialogue for Ernie and Bert based on his own point of view that they were a gay couple (even while being employed by a children's program). Mark Knopfler had to give the go-ahead for an entire verse of Money For Nothing to be censored and removed from radio play. There are many other examples that the world is trending directions I don't agree with. I don't pay a whole lot of attention to it -- in part because I have the Brothers In Arms CD and I listen to the entire song (and nobody can tell me I can't), and I'm from a generation where I got to watch and learn from Sesame Street when it was good. I do fear for the current generation of young people, though. I think the youth have far more to worry about than gay puppets and gay slurs being removed from a song or band they've never heard of...

Looking at their schedule, IMO they will be 5-7 after 12 games. 13 games played out of 17 will get him to the 75% threshold (I know it's calculated by snaps, but for the time being I will approximate). I certainly don't think TEN will be 9-3 after 12 games -- I doubt they'll even be 8-4. In theory you're correct -- Sitting Wentz down will happen if the Colts lose games against the Texans, Jets, and/or Jaguars. I think it's quite unlikely, but time will tell.

As it currently stands, Chargers, Ravens, Bills and Titans lead the divisions. Bengals, Raiders, Broncos and Browns all 3-2 for wild card spots. Then you have the 2-3 Chiefs and Steelers. That is a lot of teams to leap from to get a wild card spot.

"Openly promoting" Yeah openly promoting in private emails a decade ago. Hey when are they giving you your Sainthood? Guy who is in such moral high ground and woke that you never once described anyone in a way that would at all be derogatory.

And it’s not that far out there either. Raiders losing Gruden could really hinder that team. Bengals and Broncos aren’t that big of a threat. Colts could beat Steelers. Only battle they probably won’t win is loser of Browns/Ravens & Chiefs/Chargers. It’s still realistic they have wildcard hopes

October 12, 20213 yr Mysoginy? Racism? Homophobia? Just wait until the NFL offices find out about Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, and Eminem. (Don’t forget to add physical violence against women)

When the GM, Coach and player come together and discuss, yes, they will all agree it is what is best for the team. They can then draft the #1 tackle in the draft and put him next to Nelson, one of the best guards in the game. 3 minutes ago, SB52 said: Mysoginy? Racism? Homophobia? October 12, 20213 yr Wake up folks. You knew gay, bisexual people growing up but they were closeted so you may not have known it. Much like segregation operated in the past to make people of different culture, race or caste feel they didn’t fit in all places. Any movement towards acceptance and allowing folks to feel at ease in their own skin is okay. Anything that helps people feel they fit in is not leading us to some path of destruction but possibly to a more just and understanding society. Now Gruden may have failed ten years ago but he could still grow a little as he aged (as Lear did with Archie Bunker) and one hopes he has or will do so. Maybe what our folks and we as parents taught our children to learn from our mistakes and when we transgressed to do better next time. Some guy a couple of millennia ago talked about forgiveness. IIRC, he and his band of followers were persecuted for different beliefs yet he talked of acceptance. Maybe he was onto something.

Unless he sits out other games with injuries, the Colts would be asking him to sit out 4-5 games for a draft pick, and telling their players that they aren’t even trying for a large segment of the season. I don’t see it barring injury.

If they sit Wentz after 12 and Eason does a whole lot of three and outs and less TOP, it is possible Wentz still achieved the 75%. But gaming a conditional pick can damage a team’s ability to get conditions in the future.

Yes you have. You spent all summer slandering the women that Watson sexually assaulted calling them all liars, constantly grouping all 20+ of them together with the 1 or 2 girls that bookeded a follow up appointment and making false claims that they are are being looked at by the FBI for blackmail when it was only one.
