Wake up folks.  You knew gay, bisexual people growing up but they were closeted so you may not have known it.  Much like segregation operated in the past to make people of different culture, race or caste feel they didn’t fit in all places.  Any movement towards acceptance and allowing folks to feel at ease in their own skin is okay.  Anything that helps people feel they fit in is not leading us to some path of destruction but possibly to a more just and understanding society. Now Gruden may have failed ten years ago but he could still grow a little as he aged (as Lear did with Archie Bunker) and one hopes he has or will do so.  Maybe what our folks and we as parents taught our children to learn from our mistakes and when we transgressed to do better next time.  Some guy a couple of millennia ago talked about forgiveness.  IIRC, he and his band of followers were persecuted for different beliefs yet he talked of acceptance. Maybe he was onto something.

I'm not going to get into this in here with you but the guy you are referring to also taught about sin. If you are going to use him in your argument at least use the whole story. We as a society do not care what he taught, and that is plain as day.

Snaps matter.  If they sit Wentz after 12 and Eason does a whole lot of three and outs and less TOP, it is possible Wentz still achieved the 75%.   But gaming a conditional pick can damage a team’s ability to get conditions in the future.

Agreed. The condition isn't 75% of games it is 75% of snaps. There's no guarantees they'd manage the condition successfully just by sitting him the last 4/5 games. I just don't see them doing it unless Wentz really sucks.

Unless he sits out other games with injuries, the Colts would be asking him to sit out 4-5 games for a draft pick, and telling their players that they aren’t even trying for a large segment of the season.

I don’t see it barring injury.

This will be the determining factor.  If he misses 2-3 games with an injury before the 12 game mark then I could see them sitting him down for the last couple of games if they're eliminated from playoff contention.  It wouldn't happen any sooner than the last 2 games, though.

Yes you have.  You spent all summer slandering the women that Watson sexually assaulted calling them all liars, constantly grouping all 20+ of them together with the 1 or 2 girls that bookeded a follow up appointment and making false claims that they are are being looked at by the FBI for blackmail when it was only one.

100% false.  I said there was some parts of it that give you pause, booking 2, 3, 4 appointments.

And the bolded, what happened to Gruden proves my point.  When there is an investigation, they look into everything.  That is why Gruden is in hot water, as this was discovered in an unrelated investigation.

Didn't you just post how upset you were about a woman calling 6ers games ??

Agreed. People are looking at this way too linear.

Joe Judge might actually murder Frank Reich if he did that.  The guy was furious that the Eagles did it for a quarter, let alone 4 games

The blog.

100% correct.  You you grouped all the women together for doing that.  You never would mention it was only 2 girls that did.  You grouped them all together as doing that.  Same thing with the one girl that was being looked at by the FBI.  You would group them all together and say they were all being investigated.

You didn't hold back at all in slandering these victims of Watson because you want him to play for the Eagles.  What you did all summer was far worse than what Gruden did.

"Openly promoting"

Yeah openly promoting in private emails a decade ago.

Hey when are they giving you your Sainthood? Guy who is in such moral high ground and woke that you never once described anyone in a way that would at all be derogatory.

It goes against what the NFL stands for. There is zero chance they were keeping him around. It’s that simple.

Hurts combines a below average arm with a below average frame with below average passing sophistication (pocket presence, progressions, decision speed).  You can’t have all 3 of those strikes against you as a passer.  You just can’t.

The fact that he is accurate on dump offs and a very good athlete is not remotely redeeming enough to expect anything long term.

I am not sure QB frame has ever been a metric to determine success.  His time to throw is around where Kyler Murray's is which is in part what you would expect from a QB with an ability to escape pressure in the pocket.  I disagree about his presence.  He is aware of pressure and does a good job of escaping pressure.  His decision speed isn't great at this point but he has improved in his decision making.

I think we have to view his play in the lens of a coach that frankly hasn't done enough to put him in the best position.  You can say all you want about athletic QBs not being able to win but it's clear that very effective and efficient offenses include a QB run game.  I mean just look at Lamar and Allen.  We need to see more RPO's that are like what they run in Baltimore with TE options that are over the middle instead of slants or screens. The bigger issue at this point is that Sirianni There just was not much done in the way of game planning in the last game.  I think even with another QB I would have no confidence that Sirianni would be able to develop him or regularly game plan to beat opposing teams.

But yet they give a statue to a thug

And pointed a gun at pregnant woman as he robbed her

A druggie and thief

What a ****** up country we live in and it's gonna get worse

IMO Sirianni--aside from one game, has put Hurts in a position to succeed.  His scheme clearly works, he knows what hes doing.

Its the other part of being a HC that he has to prove.  Critical downs/situations, managing a team over the ups/downs of a season, personnel decisions, etc.

If you had to choose to ride or die with one, say for the next 5 years, do you take Sirianni+Unknown QB or Hurts+Unknown HC?

To me its obvious, give me Sirianni

Tried to dig for it, and I'm sure someone mentioned it, but those picks from Miami and Indy are looking pretty darn good right now.

Carson throws for over 400 yards and 2 TDs but the Colts lose?  That's a win in my book!  He also has not missed much time in 5 games, so that 75% mark is looking better every day.

Miami will be the best pick of the three; I think both the Eagles and Colts will finish somewhere around 7 wins.

Jeremy Fowler reporting Ertz to the Bills or Colts again. Rumor mill wheels turning....

The NFL stands for ONE THING...$$$$$$.  The NFL as an organization has no morals.  They are hypocrites.

The emails that Gruden sent were private and we can argue about the language he used until we are blue in the face.  I said it last night, the language that Gruden used 10 years ago was VERY common in locker rooms.  Much of it was slang, not used in any homophobic way at all.  The world wasn't nearly as woke as it is today.  He was dumb to use his professional email address.

Gruden's emails were private.  The performers they have for the Super Bowl half time have made MILLIONS using the exact same language and the NFL is here promoting them and yes, making money from them.

I don't see why the Bills would do that now. They have Knox and play 4 WRs. Indy on the other hand is devoid of TE #1 and Ertz could play for Reich immediately.

I’d rather see Doug in Jacksonville with Lawrence

Why?  So he can totally misuse his personnel, run a vanilla scheme, and put Lawrence in a position to get killed every time he drops back?

Not sure if the Bills are completely sold on Knox. He did have a very good game Sunday night.  I agree with you on the Colts side

Yes, after he slowed down...  He came out of his break, slowed down... then sped up, then slowed down again.

Bills really make no sense with Knox emerging. He’s been awesome. Cardinals make more sense especially with Maxx Williams out

Sounds about right.  I could see the Colts figuring things out at some point and getting hot.
