There's a lot of angles that people aren't thinking about with this. It's not just protecting a pick. TY Hilton for example, has $250k escalators for every 100 yards once he get's past 600. I know he's injured right now, but say he comes back relatively soon and is around 500 yards for the season going into the last quarter of the season. Is he going to be happy that his money is now potentially getting played with by having Hundley or Eason throwing to him instead of Wentz? No. Pascal is a FA and never had a long term deal. Is he going to be happy finishing the season with some sub par QB when he's doing pretty good with Wentz? No.

It’s one thing to shut a guy down for injury for the final game or two of a lost season, but it’s quite another to sit a healthy player for FIVE games to protect a draft pick. You’re doing your players a disservice, and you’re doing your fans a disservice. 

If Wentz is healthy, there’s no way they sit him five games. Top 15 pick be damned. 

I think it’s all moot anyway. He either gets hurt and opens it up for him to get shut down late, or he is healthy and plays because the Colts are in contention for the division

I’m just telling you what he said. He’s been a scout inside three different organization so if he’s coming up with that potential conclusion you better believe people inside the colts organization are talking about it if that scenario seems to play itself out. 

i don’t think it’s going to cause the colts are likely going to be 5-7 around week 12. They can win the next two games of houston and New England after that and be competing for the division and more likely wild card

I have read it but the KJV not the new translation.  A Gospel of Paul attributable to him.  (Real interesting, if you look at it historically, how Peter and Paul did not see eye to eye with their teachings. Just using it as a jumping off point. But I think all this talk is for nothing. They will be still be competing for the division unless Wentz gets hurt along the way which makes everything moot.

The colts need to take care of business against the Texans, jets and jags. Really the big game for the division is going to come down to the titans in week 8. They can’t lose that game and win the division cause the titans would own the tiebreaker beating them twice. I don’t see the colts surpassing the titans record if they get swept. They’d have to hope for the wildcard 

next 4 weeks are brutal for the titans. Why losing that jets game is gonna hurt them. Got bills, chiefs, Indy and rams. But after that it’s houston, New England,jags, Steelers, SF, Miami and houston. They really could reel off 7 straight wins with that schedule. It’s the titans so they’ll probably F it up and go 5-2 when they really should be the favorite in all those games. Kind of see them going 10-7

I don't think he said anything racist.  And yeah people should be allowed to have their views privately whatever they are. I certainly don't agree in self righteous a holes like you dictating what people are and aren't allowed to think and talk about privately.  Screw people like you that feel we need thought police to dictate what people are allowed to think and say. 

His private thoughts don't affect you.  They don't harm you.  They have nothing at all to do with you.  So no need to publicly hang someone just so you can boost your own ego and prance around like you're some morally righteous figure.

I think the whole gruden situation screwed with the raiders in that bears game. They came out flat and they missed so many big plays. Edwards had a walk-in wide open 70ish td he just pulled an agholor with. Carr overthrew ruggs late which also would’ve been a huge td and he was open. Definitely got the better end of that deal so far.  I didn’t even use him against the browns cause the browns heading into that game seemed to turn the corner on defense. Without newsome and clowney and some others i should’ve gone herbert

Do we know which comments are from 2018?  My guess is that's when he criticized women being officials but I'm merely taking a stab at that.

Do we even know what he said regarding women being officials?  Did he say women belong in the kitchen and not on a football field?

When it was announced that women could be on field officials, I'm sure there were a lot of negative thoughts but not because anyone is being sexist but because of how fast and physical the sport is and whether or not that's a safe atmosphere for a woman to be in.  

I'm just curious in the context in which he said things.
