I doubt very seriously that he plays for them this year.  I think they’ll move him.

I hope he plays just one for the boos.

I'm not normally one to suggest this, but it's time for RTK to once again be perma banned. We all know he was before, but now he's been openly accusing posters of being racist, misogynistic, etc. On top of that, he's defending Gruden and being openly sexist and misogynistic himself.

He offers nothing positive to the board in any capacity.

Enough is enough now.

If you feel that strongly about it reports the posts where all of this occurred. Personally unless you guys quote him I don't see any of that.

He made about 8-10 throws that I sat and said... ZERO CHANCE HURTS CAN DO THAT.

If you just posted this I would have to ask you to clarify which of the 15 other games you were referring to.

Yeah, so many real victims to Gruden talking in private to someone 10 years ago.  Not like those fake Watson sexual assault victims, those scheming liars who deserved what they had coming to them if 2 booked a follow up appointment.

Call your boss an a-hole in an email to your co-worker. If your boss finds out, do you think he might fire you?

Depends, my boss is pretty cool. He might agree with me. Besides we're both a-holes.

No crap.  I've chosen to have certain folks on the ignore list, and it almost becomes pointless when others quote everything they post.

The ignore feature should really include blocking every time they're quoted or replied to by others.  The reply could be visible, but the original post should only display "You've chosen to ignore content by ..."

Lol. So many of these officials are frail old dudes.

Do we know which comments are from 2018?  My guess is that's when he criticized women being officials but I'm merely taking a stab at that.

Do we even know what he said regarding women being officials?  Did he say women belong in the kitchen and not on a football field?

When it was announced that women could be on field officials, I'm sure there were a lot of negative thoughts but not because anyone is being sexist but because of how fast and physical the sport is and whether or not that's a safe atmosphere for a woman to be in.

I'm just curious in the context in which he said things.

If this physical specimen managed to withstand the rigors of the game at his age, I'm pretty sure a physically fit woman in her 40's can survive just fine.

Just saying, yeah it's a topic. Jon Gruden decided to duck out, take Al's money ( not YOURS) instead of dealing with these people.

Call him Snake if it makes you happy. Jon doesn't care.

Weird. I thought he was good last night but not this good.

That was another thing Daniel Jerimiah talked about on cowherd. He says that’s the best he seen Carson Wentz look in a really long time. Like end of 2019 play. The problem is lamar playing out of his mind overshadow it.

The only bad play he really had was the fumble on the blindside hit. Their defense and kicker/ST lost the game for them.

The comments on DeMaurice Smiths lips were out of line and racist, that goes back years with cartoons portraying Black people with giant lips.
The words he called Goodell are more stupid to me than offensive, does Gruden also drive a 1986 Z28?  Then again I’m not gay but I imagine they’ve been called worse.
I’ve only seen little bits of the women ref comments, and not wanting them on the field because they’re women,  there has to be more than that to be offensive.  My wife works with  some religious women who wouldn’t vote for a woman to be president.  I don’t think they’re getting cancelled or being called misogynistic.

It's funny though, I've been watching some old Looney Toons cartoons and they exaggerated EVERYONE'S physical attributes.  However, what was accepted in 1941 isn't today.

Had he called Smith the N-word,  that would be IMO racist.  He made a comment about a physical characteristic.....much like people make fun of him for looking like a Chuckie Doll.  Was it off-color and unnecessary?  Most definitely.

Serious question...if a black person was at Disney World or down at the shore and had a caricature drawing done...if the artist gives them big lips is that racist or is he just portraying them in a comedic way?

Shhhhh. I don’t want to have to resign from the blog

There are only 3-5 games on the remaining schedule that are surely losses if Sirianni is able to call plays that fit Hurts' limitations and start running the ball, and have all of that coincide with defense playing like they did on Sunday. Too many ifs of course, but interesting when looking at the games left to be played. This team either goes on a run or completely implodes IMO.

A caricature is supposed to enhance characteristics in a joking way, though...you know that going into it.

Uh what? Ref's don't get roughed up (usually), what does the physicality of football have to do with anything? And there's no shortage of slovenly/portly/tubby referees out there. The outcry about women refs was just people hating change. Be honest, have you heard anything about the female ref since she joined the league? I mean in terms of bad calls/inability to "keep up"/getting injured because it's not a safe atmosphere for a woman, whatever that means.

I'm just trying to understand what he said.  I'm looking at it from all angles.  I have no issues with women officials.  I never said they were prone to making bad calls or had the inability to keep up.

I do think the official who sits behind the linebackers has a chance of getting mixed up, that's it and that goes for some of the frail old men that are out there too.

I honestly don't know why we don't have more young, fit officials.

Because officiating is relatively safe? How many injuries, let alone serious injuries do you ever hear about officials sustaining?

I'm not arguing that one bit.  Again, I was just trying to figure out the context of what Gruden was saying. I have no idea.

I thought it was acceptable to say queer, I thought that was one of the homosexuals accepted words to describe their lifestyle,

Not many.  Again, just trying to think of different angles someone could have had in discussing women as officials.

I knew the blog was mostly old dudes, but wow, guys. Wow.
