BTW... any chance the Jags can manage to pull out a win over the Dolphins?

Sure, if they keep grinding for sixty minutes they should be able to overcome the stiff competition.

Maybe a win will fall into their laps?

Yeah see how ridiculous it all is.

Watching the All-22 from the end zone angle was a revelation to me. Hurts missed a number of short easy throws, throws I could make. Throws behind crossing receivers no more than 7-8 yards in front of him. Just horrible. What an eye-opener!

sssshhhh you can't say that!

So it's back finally? Did they give you guys some discount for next year or an apology?

It's like that in this facebook group I'm in. You get attacked or just kicked out if you critique Hurts

Good thread

He doesn’t kill Hurts, but he has Tweets from a few days ago reiterating what most here believe about Hurts.   Great kid, works his butt off, but just doesn’t have it as an NFL QB.
Way too many missed open receivers and how it’s impossible to judge Siriani because Hurts is not the QB to run the system he wants.

I made a comment in a YouTube video I watched where the narrator discussed Hurts but didn't even mention the fumble Hurts didn't try to jump on in his own end zone.  When I pointed it out in the comment the reply I got back was something along the lines of "you toxic fans really get me irked"

Wait....didn't you say if we don't like Hurts that's why?

Lol I was screaming at my tv when he was trying to pick it up with one hand

He was the only Eagle with about five Panthers in the end zone and he got it out of the back of the end zone. After trying to pick it up, a natural reaction, keeping it away from the Panthers and eventually out of the end zone is the right move. If he jumps on the ball and misses (he has just run full speed to get back there), the Panthers get a TD.  Horrible snap.  He got the best result shy of picking it up and getting out of the end zone.

Agree to disagree. He just had to fall down on the ball

I’m surprised more hasn’t been made about the complete and total lack of effort on that play. It was ridiculous.

Other than the thud of a solid tackle, nothing beats the sound of a blocked punt.

Naw...it's either...

a) It wasn't lack of effort, it was being cool in the middle of a crisis.  Leadership!

or

b) It was the coach's fail for him not understanding the urgency of the situation.  Sirianni needs to do a better job of teaching him the rules of football.  Saban, Riley, and Pederson did.

Nope.  I would not want any association with that racist, homophobic, mysogynistic d bag.

I’ve barely heard it mentioned in Podcasts this week except for Roob and Zangaro, and believe it or not, Roob said he shouldn’t of gone for the ball or dove on it because he could of gotten injured when the opposing players jumped on him, ugh!   At least Zangaro called him out on it, and was even puzzled by his response.

That play and the out of bounds throw on the free play, finished off my roll of Tums.  You want a QB with a short memory, but not with dementia.

Football Outsiders stuff...

16th in Overall DVOA.  19th in Offense.  11th in Defense and STs.

We have a serious disconnect between yards and points per drive.  Likely the red zone penalties.
