Never have my bonus prediction:

Hurts does some useless stat padding in garbage time and we have people ignoring the rest of the game when he was sub-par when it mattered.

TLDR: Hurts pads his stats in blowout loss.

My bonus prediction was the Bucs dline will rape Hurts and he'll throw 2 garbage time tds

K is such a fraud.   He's had offers, but only wants in if named unquestioned starter.   Makes more money pimping himself out as a "victim" of the evil white patriarchy.

Which is why Herbig, at this point in time, makes more sense.  I just fear that Dickerson is going to get injured since he's not quite there yet.  Anytime you overcompensate for an injury you raise the risk of injuring something else like you alluded too.  If I recall you see that a lot with Achilles injuries.

Yup, I was saying this when they first named him the starter. Should have given the kid at least a month of practice and it would allow the coaches and everyone else to evaluate him to see where he was at, physically and mentally. But nope, threw him right into the fire. I just hope he doesn't suffer an injury. If he doesn't play great this moment I'm not worried about that part right now.

I wonder what the average yards gained on the screen passes is.  If it’s less than 4.0 it becomes a big deal.

I saw a rumor about Lane Johnson having a pain pill addiction which is why he’s out. Is that actually floating around? People are talking about it on a Texas Eagles fan group on FB but I haven’t seen anything on here or elsewhere.

I think at this point, unfortunately, people are drawing their own conclusions. Some of those conclusions may appear believable or someone may say they know someone who knows the Johnson family etc and then it grows. Perhaps it is a pain pill addiction, perhaps it isn't. Right now it is all speculation and is unfair really on the player.

Not to interrupt a rousing debate on genocide, but Hurts is on pace to have a more prolific season than Wentz:

Wentz's projections: 4,495 yards

Hurts' projections: 4,641 yards

Combined yards or passing?

It doesn't matter what reason it is. It's personal

it really isn't the same though.

I'm not sure why someone would be let out of a controlled environment with a pain pill addiction, drive to Oklahoma and then come right back a few days later.  Seems odd to do that.  If Lane was still in Oklahoma, sure. There are other things, it could be but they better left unspeculated on.  It come out at the right time, not any sooner.

you don’t consider the deep shots an extension of the run game either I bet

This is some confirmation bais for me here. From sone one who at leasts studies tape and knows how to break things down. Versus, someone who looks at the stats and parrots the talking heads.

Listen to what Baldy says about Hurts, and Sirianni's offense  starts at 2:45:  He was trying to be nice, but he has the exact same criticisms of Hurts and Sirianni as some of us do. He stated, Sirianni's college offense is him trying to maximize what Hurts does well. (Basically implying Hurts limitations are holding this team back) He actually states "can he become an actual NFL QB and do the things they need to do?  He gives him a bit of a hedge saying he has 9 starts.

But this is the issue, Hurts is not a NFL QB yet. And some are questioning if he can become one, myself included, but we have the rest of the season to figure it out.

Im tired of hearing this excuse, I was tired of it with Reid, that it is still being used says to me that the lack of run plays comes from the top ( lowie) as does the excuse.

Again in 2017 the eagles were 6th in rush attempts 3rd in yards and 4th in Ave.

They ran the ball often and effectively and won a super bowl, so why the constant need from Lurie to pass the ball more it's not like running the ball was a losing formula?

I'd be curious what happened behind closed doors there.  Mayock does have a good eye for talent.  Ferrell is really the only major head scratcher by that team IMO>

I always respected Mayocks eye for talent, but I have not liked the raiders draft picks the past 3 years.

It really isnt... Ask Brandon Staley

Tbh I’m not really sure all of those picks are on mayock. I believe Davis said gruden had 51% control and mayock had 49%. They might have gotten to an agreement but mayock might have wanted some others more. I’m curious if he stays on to see how his draft in 2022 looks compared to the others.
