It isn't fan fiction. The guy doesn't have it above the shoulders.

Nor below it, considering he is perpetually injured.

I think what concerns me most about last night is that this is the second game in a row that the coach has panicked and just lost control of the situation.  Calling 2runs for Sanders is evidence of that for me.  If Sirianni panics again during the KC, I honestly don't know what should be done.  My hope here is that he gain better self-control if he makes balanced play-calling his focus.

Let’s not kid ourselves. Dallas is clearly a better team than us, but to allow that butt whooping was simply disgusting. It showcased how inexperienced/overwhelmed our coaches, QB, and some of our young players are. It’s also showed how mediocre some of our supposed talent is. This team probably won’t right the ship anytime soon as our schedule is brutal, we have core players injured already, and the young talent we have isn’t that talented yet or may just be overhyped.  Hurts is probably not the answer and Siriani may be clueless. Time will tell, but in a few weeks we’ll know for sure if this team is in a 2 to 3 year rebuild or a 5 to 6 year rebuild.

Everything you wrote is pretty much true, but the troubling part here is the guy responsible for the rebuild. Howie’s the one who selected these young players. He had a hand in selecting this coach. His hands are all over this rebuild with the suspect young talent and the  aging brittle veterans. As long as he’s running things it could get far worse before it gets better.

They will beat K.C

This game is over midway through the second qtr.

Such an embarrassing performance last night.  Complete and utter garbage all the way around.  If we just look at the player side of things, lots of holes to fill...particularly on defense.  Who on defense has you excited to think he's a future cornerstone for years to come?  Hargrave has been far and away our  best player on D...he'll be 29 this offseason, how much longer can he play at his current level?  Cox is done.  Barnett sucks.  Not a single player in the back 7 that.

On offense, if Hurts isn't the guy (withholding judgement until end of year), then obviously QB will be top priority.  Kelce will prob finally retire after this year.  Brooks just can't stay healthy anymore.  We will have Mailata and Dickerson (at center) for the future.  Lane Johnson will turn 32 this offseason, how much longer does he have left?  Assuming we keep Goedert, I'm not as concerned about the skill positions because I think a better QB with better play calling will help them immensely.

Then there's the whole issue of if Sirianni and crew know what the hell they are doing.  The game plans thus far have been absolute garbage.  The play calling even worse.  I still can't tell what they're trying to do on either side of the ball. No identity.  No purpose.  And, completely undisciplined.  They seem clueless.

And somehow Howie will F it up even more in the offseason.

This feels like one of the worst coached Eagles games I’ve seen since Andy Reid and the Winston Justice game.

Wentz? Lmao last night looked like Wentz every game last year. At least Squirts is cheap and not 150 million and we can easily move on. Wentz would be in a fing body bag today after last night. Dude is 0-3 on a 5 loss team.

Was reading a bit in the Colts forum, and it felt a lot like ours last year.

Not his fault, the OL can’t stay healthy, no weapons, bad playcalls…

Been there too once. Now I feel like it probably has a lot to do with Wentz.

Yep.  We got out coached in this one.  Dallas had a lot of emotion (Dak's first game, bunch of HoFers in the house, etc.) and that helped them.  I don't think we're that bad, and I don't think Dallas is that good.  We're on to KC.

How did Dillard do considering all that happened around the line?

Awful performance by the Eagles. The Cowboys got off to a hot start and didn't look back. Hurts was not playing well; his accuracy was off, and he's still throwing long-balls too short. And yet Sirianni kept calling pass plays. The Eagles needed to control the ball more, to keep the defense off the field. They were all gassed by the 2nd quarter. Beat in every phase.

What a smelly turd that was too... Got to flush it and move on.

Not too bad. I think his name was called only once on an illegal man downfield penalty. There was an RPO where Hurts got destroyed by Parsons. That was on Dillard’s side. Truth is the line as a whole wasn’t great, and Lane and Kelce struggled too.

You don’t try and go into Dallas in prime time and try and win a shoot out with a quarterback who has only started three games for you especially if that guy isn’t named Brady, Brees, or Rodgers.

That’s good news. They keep playing him, blaming ever else, and they keep losing.

Should be a 3rd slide pulling off Doug's mask and showing Andy

Seriously... i forget about chip, did he abandon the run as well? I just remember S8 and the same 5 plays every game.

Last night was expected...we are essentially a new team..new QB..new HC and staff..etc...I think back to AR's first season and how inept that team looked...also I think back to the fact that Doug's hiring and first season had people convinced that his hire was a fatal mistake...

Meanwhile Dallas has slowly and quietly built a very stacked team..and Jerruh did exactly what he had to by drafting heavy on defense..in the 2021 draft...

I just wish our FO valued defense as much.... correction..I wish our FO valued positions other than just the DL as much....

I think I said prior to this game that Dallas was the Litmus test...and now things are 100% on Sirianni...Dan Quinn just showed the league how to trounce Hurts and our offense ....and If Sirianni can't recognize this and adjust..well then he IS Chip Kelly part 2....

Chip just had the Tecmo Bowl plays. Sweep left. Sweep right, basic pass up, and down. Nothing said this guy is a genius like a Demarco Murray sweep for minus yards.

Damn on 3 RB carries. Howie and Lurie must be behind this.

24 hour rule…only think about this loss for 24 hours and then it’s time to prepare for the next loss. Lol!

Doesn’t seem possible does it?.., No one should be surprised if that’s what’s happening and likely one of Doug’s issues.   The only thing he did was pull Hurts for Sudfeld, Siriani tanked as well, he basically pulled Sanders with the Cowboys having 2-3 starting D Linemen on IR.

Lol, Siri's plan was to win a shootout, hence the play-calling of pass every play

With a QB who's biggest issue is his arm and biggest strength is running with the ball

What now....

They were never going to win a shootout with that Cowgirls offense. Siri needs to let the coaches around him help with the game plan, because whoever put this one together doesn't know what they are doing. Whoever is responsible for this game plan shouldn't be involved in that aspect of coaching.

Because Howie, and Lurie, won't strip it all down and rebuild. They retool which leads to him signing these older vets in the hope that they can compete whilst rebuilding. I think we all disagreed with that approach and all wanted them to tear it down.

There is absolutely a big question mark at QB but next year isn't the year to draft one I don't think.

I don't follow college ball much but what I've heard/read it seems this could be another 2016 for college QBs. The consensus best (Goff & Wentz) have turned out to be not all that good. And no, Watson can go elsewhere.

I think we ARE that bad and KC is that good. Might need to have a punching bag near me while watching the game. Or the Halloween stuffed dummy- beat the sh_it out of it during the game on bad plays. 😈 👹

They keep preaching every off season that they are going to get younger, then do the opposite. They just can't help themselves and make the same mistakes over and over and never learn from them. Nothing changes if nothing changes.
