Very few potatoes at the store today.  I heard bacon has gotten really expensive but I generally don’t eat bacon

Restaurants have gotten more expensive but my grocery bill has actually gone down. That could be a factor of not buying as much meat, trying to normalize my meat intake for health reasons (meat tends to be far too much of my diet, very imbalanced, and I'm not as young as I used to be).

Gas prices seem to have flattened.

How much could a potato cost, ten dollars?

Be less poor/Vikas

I would assume that one reason Vikas is not poor is because he pays attention to what he spends, or maybe he received 100 goats and a chest of gold as his dowry when he got married… I don’t know

I bet Vikas buys veggie bacon.

Why would anyone eat avocado toast without bacon on it?

I have no idea what anything costs. I focus on making enough money so I don’t have to ever know what groceries cost. Or electricity. Or cars. I assume my wife knows.

But nice job with the casual racism.

Great observations.... Little late on them though

What color polo are you wearing right now?

Food is the one thing I don't look at the price tag for.

Strange how watching people be openly racist can change your perception. Strange that it would happen around 2016 too. What's that about?

Well you've always been a ****, so this isn't a surprising opinion from you.

But yeah, pointing out a cultural norm in a light-hearted way certainly isn't an example of "racism" or "casual racism" or any other type of ism.

A cultural norm?  He’s an Indian guy living in Los Angeles and he’s married to a woman who is Chinese.  But other than that…

 Oh this thread now has potential.
