April 14Apr 14 Only 16k annually? Are people raising their children on ramen and telling them to use their imagination for entertainment/activities?
April 14Apr 14 Median household income is $83k. A lot of kids do without. Also depends on the area. Raising a kid in WV, for example, is dirt cheap. Very little cost for education, and children yearn for the mines so in some cases there's a net positive cashflow.

Or is there some other bs lever he can pull to keep them going?
