Let me make sure I am getting you right. Your opinions on fuel costs would change if one person wore different clothes?

44, I can handle mean fine. Also, as I said earlier, your opinions became fairly meaningless to me a post or two ago.

From posting on here the last 20 months and watching you interact with other posters it’s likely you won’t remember who I am in a day or two anyway.

It isn't his observation about fuel prices... It's his observation about struggling while wearing a designer Givenchy hoodie.

My post was more to start a discussion about his overall opinion on how fuel costs "matter" to different people, which he has spoken about multiple times over the past few months. But then he was mean to me.

I have been noticing food prices going up pretty drastically in my neck of the woods lately. But I also just bought a car, so those rising costs don't matter at all!

🙄

What I’ve said in the past is that I think it’s funny that people driving $60,000 pick-ups are complaining about gas prices.  Substitute designer clothes or whatever.

not sure the food analogy works here when its in comparison to buying an overpriced piece of clothing.

Exactly. If fluctuations in fuel prices matter so much, drive something more efficient.

Because I bought a car I didn't need. So the food prices going up shouldn't matter at all to me.

The point is that it’s humorous when wealthy people gripe about the price of commodities. How do you not get it?

It may be somewhat humorous in some cases. I can agree with that. It doesn't necessarily invalidate what they are griping about.

Fair enough.  His father is running for the U.S. Senate.  Funny now or no?

Imagine how stupid you have to think your supporters are to talk like this. It's a cult.
