Well I got gas this morning for under $4.00 and it looks to be heading lower every day. I’d just like to thank the great President Biden for ending the fuel crisis in like 2 weeks.

While a war is ongoing no less. Simply amazing.

I'm one of those weird people who actually like turkey bacon more.

Yes yes, judge me now.

I miss being close enough to the Amish market in Newtown to grab their turkey bacon. Though I bet None Such Farm Market has some... I'll have to look.

That said, I prefer regular old breakfast sausage over all of them if I'm going with some kind of homestyle breakfast.

Do you like the taste more?  Or cause you think it's better for you?  Just curious...

I'm guessing it's one of those things where knowing it is better for you "tricks" your system and taste buds into preferring it. For example -- after years of drinking basically Diet Coke and Coke Zero, I will say I like Coke Zero better than real Coke. But that's crap -- I'm just more used to it and my mind thinks it is better. Give a normal person a real Coke and a Coke Zero, and they will pick the real thing every time.

It really isn't that much better for you though - it's so heavily processed that it's still crap.  It's a hell of a lot cheaper though.  IMO you may as well just eat regular bacon - tastes a hell of a lot better

I am also not big on bacon. I'll enjoy a BLT here and there but God help you if you put bacon on my burger.

Oh, I avoid bacon, turkey bacon, etc. -- basically all processed meats. Other than a cheat meal (which is today!), I stay far away from that stuff as it WRECKS my system with sodium.

I cut way back on the diet sodas -- I was up to 10-12 a day at one point (working ~100 hours a week, just trying to stay awake). Down to 2 Coke Zeros a day, but I just can't do water with lunch or dinner.

Moderation, folks. If you deny yourself things because they are not healthy, you miss out on an awful lot.

A BLT from time to time, is a magical creature.

I've learned from other CVON threads that there is no such thing. Either you think something should be illegal, or you must be a freak that consumes said thing to excess on a daily basis.

Yep, and strippers and hookers too. And gay marriage, weed, cigarettes, and alcohol.

I find the taste of regular bacon to be very very strong. And regular bacon has a lot of fat, which is pretty gross to me, so I end up just peeling the meaty bits out. A little fat can be good and make a cut of meat taste fantastic, but bacon goes WAY over the top.

I like the meaty bits, but it's a heavy salty taste typically.

Turkey bacon is basically some of the somewhat fatty bits of a turkey slabbed up with a touch of salt. To me that's just a better cut. It's certainly a more understated or even bland taste, so I get why people don't dig it.

To baseline, I almost never have bacon - turkey or traditional. I prefer breakfast sausage if I'm looking at a meat at breakfast, but most often I do a small portion of eggs and am heavy on the mixed fruits and low sugar yogurt for breakfast.

Never was a soda drinker, so didn't have to break that habit

but, you're my clone.

Yeah you guys can have your extra 10 years of miserable lives with diet cokes and turkey bacon.

The only thing that could be considered a "soft drink" I regularly buy is the Arnold Palmer half and half ice tea and lemonade. Pretty sure it has half the sugar as their normal tea. I will put a small splash of coke or sprite in rum or vodka, but other that that I dont really care for soda.

My daughter has a really bad sweet tooth. She will drink anything that's sugar, we have watch her. My son hasn't drank any liquid except water since he was a toddler drinking apple juice or whatever. He doesn't like anything but water.

Same. I think it tastes good, but a little is a lot.

Bacon should be on every burger ever.

Literally ended up reading this right after finishing a BLT, lol.

Can definitely agree that on a burger it's good stuff. Salty crispy bacon is a great compliment and isn't so overpowering as it is by itself.

I like avocado and fried egg on a burger as well from time to time

Egg on a burger is a lovely thing

Just don't wear a shirt you really love.

Poached egg on a burger is great answer to a hangover.
