Which could only mean one of two things: deep down you truly do blame Trump for inflation, or you're so hilariously bad at math, that you thought Biden was in office a year and a half ago. Either way, you're still a gigantic moron. I don't even understand why you try to hide it at this point, just own your learning disability and some of us might actually feel guilty about mocking you so often. Glad you could pull yourself away from your "favorite pastime" long enough to write a dissertation about how calendars work. Hope you wiped the keyboard down first, little dude.

May 11, 20223 yr Pop Pop beating expectations once again! Inflation barreled ahead at 8.3% in April from a year ago, remaining near 40-year highs
May 11, 20223 yr The month-over-month inflation is reported to be .3% for April, which is the lowest since July of last year and the first drop in monthly inflation since August 2021.
May 11, 20223 yr Inflation up, gas up, workers don't want to work, the market is tanking, and we're on the precipice of a recession. Nice work Biden!!!!!!!

Hardly, jobless claims are at their lowest in over 50 years. He basically created so many jobs our collective heads are spinning. Can you believe it? Biden finally got those lazy turds off their asses and are now earning their keep. Must've been that time he told them to be less poor and it seems like it's working! He's basically Jesus at this point.

They clung for dear life to the supplemental UC benefits being the cause of labor shortages, and now that it has clearly been removed from the equation, they don't even adjust their falsehoods to the context, they just keep regurgitating the same BS. "No one wants to work! People make more on sitting at home!" Ummm, no, Karen, it's just that no one wants to serve your entitled, fat ass at Applebees.

I wish they'd show that with more significant digits. If they're using standard rounding, 0.25% is a helluva lot different projected as a yearly number than 0.34%. 3% vs 4.1%. Either way, the month-by-month number gives a better look at the very short term. inflation is going to be high for a while because even if we have zero inflation month-over-month the annual number they put out (which compares prices in the same month of the current year as a year prior) is going to be high for the next 6 mos at least. If we start stacking months with more normal inflation (0.2-0.3%) then we can say inflation is ebbing, and it will normalize year-over-year. One month doesn't make a trend but you have to start somewhere.

Without zuke, where else would we get those scintillating hot takes from conservative treehouse? Imagine being so deranged that you see a website with that name and immediately think, "Seems legit, other people really need to see this!"

May 11, 20223 yr You guys do realize that even if prices don't change at all month-to-month that the reported number will be high for a while? Unfortunately I don't actually expect that number to stay low. Diesel is in crisis, and that's going to cause price pressure across the board.
