Yep, though to be correct Turkey is not in the EU so really it is only two countries at this point.

The Merkel mistake was huge, but they’ve remedied that for the most part. Orban has been a thorn in the EU side for many years. He’s more of an ally to Putin than to the democratic west. It’s a big problem because Hungary has vetoed various bills against Russia.

Tough sledding there and had to burn some coal but good that Germany was able to find a way forward. Hungary is the main issue at this point.

Absolutely. Merkel put way too much trust into that "fake” good relationship with Russia. That’s one of the main reasons that Putin is talking out of his a_ss when he says Russia felt threatened by the West. He and his Russian goons only felt and feel threatened by Democracy. They want to keep their people suppressed and under control. And if they control them, they can expand their borders to have vassal states.
