My wife’s cousin can see them refueling from where she lives in the south of Poland. She said her cousin thinks it’s the US refueling US planes. I can’t confirm any of this though.

Think about it.  Makes sense we would help with stealth.  They have no chance of seeing us.  No s-400s in Ukraine

When I was in Sigonella they would fly U-2s out of there all the time.

Things like this should show how truly petty the issues we generally argue about are.

We were a net exporter before Biden and now are so desperate we are paying Iran for oil. If we were prepared and independent we could shut that off.

They factor in because they shut down the pipeline and anything else that makes us energy independent. Most of us want solar or wind to work but in the meantime oil, coal, and gas are what we need.

dude, this is us the last 15 years or so:

Biden didn't do anything to change that. And Trump didn't either. This has been a trend since we started going after tight and shale oil supplies.

And if you look at the tail end there, for six of the 11 months we have data for during Biden's administration we were a net exporter, and overall for those 11 months we were a net exporter. It's almost certain that for Biden's first full year in office we will be a net exporter, and if we're not it's damn close to zero.

Stop trying to make this a partisan thing. The trajectory above started under Bush, continued for 8 years under Obama, then 4 under Trump. The only thing that arrested it was COVID.

Here’s the thing. Tanker aircraft have been around 25k ft flying patterns in Romania and Poland for the last few days. They’re in civilian airspace so they’re broadcasting their acars data so you can see where they’re at. But you can’t see what they’re refueling. That makes me wonder. Like who are they refueling.

1. If we're actually running stealth missions and nobody got cellphone footage of it I'd be shocked. And everybody here would have to admit Biden has bowling-ball size brass nuts.
2. Would it be surprising if these tankers were quietly refueling Ukrainian jets?

This reminds me of a conversation I had with a friend that is former military and now works for the government….back when Fitbits were first launched and used to track steps, military personnel would casually walk around the bases to get their steps in. Nobody thought about the GPS tracking until Fitbit was hacked and showed a giant circle in the sands of Afghanistan this creating a literal target on the map.  That was a mild oversight 😂

It would be to me because to me that should be some kind of violation. If the roles were reversed and Russia was refueling someone were fighting I’d be pissed at them. However if we are refueling Ukrainian planes secretly it proves your brass ball theory.

Who shut down the pipeline? Who isn't renewing leases? Who stopped drilling on some fields in Alaska? Shutting down things that make us energy independent is a partisan thing because of the Green New Deal. That's not my fault. It's the trajectory they are taking us on. I agree with your post above and we'll just agree to disagree and focus on bigger issues. I've agreed with a lot of things you've said tonight and would rather keep it that way instead of diving into this.

Pissing up a rope with these ass clowns. They don't know how to form coherent arguments so they just regurgitate what they hear from Tucker Carlson. They'll be the first to say the invasion is all Biden's fault to avoid blaming their buddy Putin. Doing otherwise would force them to admit Trump was wrong all along and Romney was right. Hell, even Hillary was warning everyone about Putin and trumpbots mocked her just like Obama mocked Romney.

I'd respect it that's for sure. Also, what happened to the Ghost? Did he get taken out because we haven't heard much about him. I'm shocked if they still have an airport they could use.

This is just not accurate.

14 pipelines were completed last year, and more will be this year. The right has made a sideshow out of one pipeline, a pipeline that was to pipe the dirtiest and hardest to refine gas from Canada (IMPORT!!) to refineries in Nebraska or wherever, and everybody thinks Biden is shutting things down.

Biden has average MORE new leases than Trump did. Look it up.

Biden has taken a ton of flack from environmentalists because of how many land leases. He oversaw the largest land lease in history a few months ago, though a judge blocked it a month or so ago; we'll see if it passes (the block was temporary pending a review).

I get WHY you think this, because the right-wing machine is manufacturing BS constantly. But the truth is that Biden has definitely been changing some rules to make things more environmentally sound but NOT getting in the way of oil production - it's absolutely proceeding, and proceeding well.

I 💯 believe we are helping with the refuel and resupply.  We can’t actively engage in the fight but acting as a depot I don’t think violates any "rules.”

either way, pop pop doesn’t give a crap about Putin and I don’t think he would give any F’s if it is a violation

There’s a chance they have their own Chris Kyle but I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s just a story created to keep Ukrainians motivated

We're already providing them with aid, this would still be very much in line with that.

Pretty sure that's the case.

I mean the pilot Ghost.

For those who pay more attention to this…

Why is refueling Ukrainian jets any more of a violation than sending them light arms?

I don’t doubt that it is, just curious about the technicality of it.
