Not the mass adoption I was hoping for, but shorting it now so send it down.

I'm not promising that Russia won't nuke us and (because we have to retaliate if they do) end human life on Earth -- but Putin can't launch the nukes all by himself. People have to follow orders, which I think is unlikely. More likely is that if he gets ready to do that, someone under him will do a coup and he'll quickly get recognized as the new legitimate ruler of Russia.

that’s pretty much the hope

Does Ukraine have Global Hawks? I mean talk about opsec, they are waiting to get wrecked

I for one commend the return of talk softly and carry a big stick.  So much better than whine loudly and brag about your D.

This is snowballing now. Russia is going to be entirely isolated because this madman couldn't give up on getting the Soviet band back together.

I'd say the Russians are not incompetent enough to leave runways for such jets to take off from, but I'd also say that Russian tanks wouldn't be running out of gas in the Ukrainian countryside just hours into a war....

Whose to say Ukrainian pilots can’t fly out of other nations?

They will just use aerial refueling

I doubt a NATO nation would allow that but perhaps someone else (Turkey maybe?) would be willing to risk Russia bombing their runways.

It will be like that guy in one of the European countries who had a German tank in his basement a few weeks ago

Not sure, but we can’t fly the jets in so I am guessing Ukraine pilots would have to Fly them in from somewhere

Wasn't there some guy in Britain who was fighting with his neighbor over some variance or something, so he requested from the municipality a permit for a tank on his property and they thought he meant a tank for water or something but he actually used it to get a real tank to intimidate his neighbor?

I'd really love to be a fly on the wall in Xi Jinping's office right now. If Russia's going down, why throw good money after bad? OTOH, there are probably some really good bargains to be had in Russia right now.
