Man I know this is a weird segue but anyone else grow up with Chicken Kiev (Kyiv)?  My grandmother was Ukrainian and made it growing up. Basically flattened chicken breast wrapped around herb butter, then breaded and fried. F that was good.

Just came across these at the store last night, and I'd never seen them there before. Struck me as ironic.

We?

Maybe I am reading too much into it but looking at that video of Putin earlier today, those Generals with him did not look like they wanted to be any part of that

Putin has held back on bringing heavy conventional weapons into the fray so far.  Obviously, he didn't think he would need them and he doesn't want the optics of what those would do to the Ukrainian people.  He has also gone light on the cyber stuff it would seem since all the basic electricity, water, comms, is still all functioning.  It would appear that he is going to need to change those dynamics if he wants to take over Kyiv.  Tough decision for him but I can't see how he can back down.

I know. I'm certainly counting my blessings that I voted for the right guy!

His face has looked very puffy over the past year or so.... Reminded me of people I know who had COPD and were taking prednisone.

There were reports in the past that he had cancer and Parkinsons.... Considering Rubio's cryptic tweets, I wonder if this is true

If it is really costing him 20 Billion a day to fight this it can not continue the way it is much longer

If he's worried about optics, he can't be too happy right now. I suspect he was hoping for a compliant population post-conquest because he knows he can't afford a hostile occupation.

When he realizes it's not going to happen, who knows what happens.....

They look like, is this loon for real

Exactly.  That's the bigger issue here.

This source also said Putin would step down in early 2021... It's a year later and still it hasn't happened. Could be prednisone, could be old age is catching up to him. Putin is 69 years old.

Notice who's restricting access to the internet.

Russia has purposely avoided shutting down the internet while the EU and some tech giants are actively limiting access.

The truth will still get out, you Not-z sympathizers!

What are you rambling on about? Any links to back this up?

Live updates: US to send anti-aircraft Stingers to Ukraine

https://www.yahoo.com/news/live-updates-musks-starlink-internet-053805974.html

WASHINGTON — The U.S. for the first time has approved the direct delivery of Stinger missiles to Ukraine as part of a package approved by the White House on Friday.

The exact timing of delivery is not known, but officials say the U.S. is currently working on the logistics of the shipment. The officials agreed to discuss the development only if not quoted by name.

The decision comes on the heels of Germany’s announcement that it will send 500 Stinger missiles and other weapons and supplies to Ukraine.

TORONTO — Canada will send an additional $25 million worth of defensive military equipment to Ukraine in an effort to help the country defend against Russia’s invasion.

Foreign Affairs Minister Melanie Joly says the equipment includes helmets, body armor, gas masks and night-vision gear.

She says it will be routed through Poland to get there as quickly as possible.

Defense Minister Anita Anand says Canada will offer up cybersecurity experts who can help Ukraine "defend its networks against cyber attacks that are increasingly forming part of modern-day warfare.”

Putin is reserving the elite forces for the real fight, should NATO want to feel the brunt of the new tech.

Haven't been in here for the weekend so maybe this is already posted

This is insane

You’re a moron. Russia shut down networks and took out communications so Musk literally took out his phone and sent the star link satellites over there so that the people of Ukraine have a way of communicating.  Putin tried to take down the internet so he can say that he’s winning, but Musk made sure he couldn’t put up a false narrative. Social media is literally helping Ukraine win this.

At this point, it seems this guys has made sure American intel is getting fed to Ukrainians, more members of the EU are joining in on stiffer sanctions. The only step further I wish we would take is declaring Ukrainian airspace a no-fly zone and take out anything not supposed to be there to help Ukraine, but also don’t have the information of what the repercussions would be.

At this point, I would say this guy is kicking putin’s ass from the coaches box. He hasn’t even moved to the sideline or the field yet…

Spoiler
