Here's the truly hysterical part -- the current situation is ideal for the US. Russia's military is engaged and has been seriously degraded to the point that they have to bring in foreign troops. We a

Russian troops will see so many different races, genders, and people with varying sexual preferences coming at them that they’ll just throw down their weapons and run away.

We could mobilize the GOP?

Maybe all the swastikas and stuff would give the Russians pause?

Biden isn't running the show. He's barely able to utter a coherent sentence. It's clear that the neo-con and neo- lib warmongers are calling the shots.

Also Trumpbots: Biden isn't really in charge of anything.

So my thought process is that "Belarus” invades Ukraine, and depending on the reaction Russia jumps in to "support an ally and totally not Russians pretending to be Belarusian” or chastise "Belarus” into withdrawing, while "Belarus” keeps whatever land they gained.

My guess is mid February.

Interesting, but I think they wait until after the Olympics. No need to make Xi made and drive China closer to the US.

Russia is afraid of driving China closer to the U.S.? LOL!

Russia and China are practically full blown allies, at this point. They are integrating military commands for christ's sake. A Eurasian block has formed because of U.S. belligerence and there's nothing they can do about it. If Europe doesn't want to starve or freeze to death, they better start negotiating.

Putin is sitting back laughing, first it was December invasion was imminent, then January, now February, he has the attention he wants

That is not a very accurate statement.

It's after the Olympics for sure. ^_^

The U.S. strategy to foment war and blame it on Russia has failed.

Definitely , if not guaranteed a spring or summer invasion that may be pushed back until the fall or winter

No, they won’t wait until after the Olympics. Once the Olympics has gone by the window won’t be open until next winter. A lot of the land they need to cross is swampy, but right now it’s frozen over. Easier to get armor and APCs across terrain.

I'm not sure how true that is today. That may have been the case 60 years ago but modern tanks and APCs should be able to deal with muddy conditions.

This isn’t some muddy road. Think Shrek swamp.

Not to mention they have a limited window to start grabbing land before there’s a retaliation of some kind. The quicker they can take terrain, the better for them.

What makes you think Russia wants to grab land? Russia is huge! Why would they want more land?

Every day!  Every single days there's flights to Moscow.  Why are you denying yourself a chance to live in the land you love?

Beating back U.S. puppets and terrorists isn't a land grab.
