Chinese fighter jets are no match for the American jets like F22, F35, heck even a juiced up F16. Chinese jets like J10, J20's will be nothing but shooting ducks. Chinese AESA radar's are terrible, their jet engines suck and rely on the outdated Sukhoi Russian jet engines. Only thing that would concern the US is the Chinese Missiles. I do not know how advanced the American missile technology is, heard about a satellite missile shield which laser's can be used to destroy incoming missiles, may those bad boys come into play. However in a war with China, they are no match for the US military.

However in a war with China, they are no match for the US military. Yes, really. It’s not their jets you have to worry about. It’s their cruise missiles. It’s their hypersonic missiles. It’s their attack sub fleet. We can only bring our superior jets to bear in a Taiwan invasion from carriers, but the carriers are extremely vulnerable that close to mainland China.
