Emotional exaggerations. Every conflict could do this. Are you now an isolationist? You are hardly part of a select few with a clue. You are a part of the fearful mob. Anyone with a clue knows the risk is not decreased by avoidance. In fact it probably goes up when putin has time to reorganize and resupply.

all this cowardice does is enable more aggression, even at the poker table. The only intelligent reason to invite it is to execute a trap.

Or do you think Putin will suddenly be satisfied if he has Ukrain? Has he ever been more vulnerable than now?

Nice to see you and TEW talking about a subject where you both have considerable experience.

Yes, they want people fleeing Putin's war to flee to the nations invading Ukraine.

Yes. Seems Ukrainians disagree with that sentiment.

TEW is likely just worried about his investments tanking. Must have russian debt

Who Zelensky? Are we assuming Putin has another card to play here? I'm not he does.

I think Ukraine giving up Crimea and the very far edge of Donetsk would probably be too much. But I wouldn't be shocked if Ukraine accedes to that.

Any more than that and Putin can go pound sand, if I'm Zelenskyy. The world is using Russia as its punching bag right now, and the luster is well worn off Putin.

Anything even touching NATO is a no-go. Ukraine is sovereign.

Perhaps Ukraine will do Russia a solid and offer security assurances if Russia gives up its nukes?

His card is bomb Ukraine until it is totally destroyed

thats not true. Everything I see is how we have the natural resources to be independent but still buy from Russia.

Also saw a lot on how dumb people are not realizing that  a carton of eggs is gonna be 17 dollars in a couple weeks.

Also saw how Russia's invasion is "mostly peaceful"

Which is true

so what you're saying is that we should elect Jon Stewart?

I mean, couldn't be worse than the options in 2020.
