Polish carpenter who built our new deck just returned from Poland a couple days back and described the situation on the ferry.  He said the looks in the Ukrainian eyes brought him to tears (he's not a very emotional dude).  He opened his onboard cabin up to allow a couple of the mother/kids groups to ride in some peace and comfort.
