March 22, 20223 yr This video is from 2016. This guy is Putin's Bannon and a much stronger Bannon at that. I think it is quite pertinent today in understanding the Russian mindset. Comrade @Dave Moss , I suppose you and Abra agree with this guy's views. My interest is found in the old time tested lesson of "know thy enemy". Edit: ...and now from yesterday. Bottom line according to this guy: This is a war of ideas and world power. It is the US and the liberal world order vs. Russia fascism and the only outcome for Russia is victory. Either Russia wins OR Putin will destroy mankind. His words are clear at the end of the video. Putin loves to play high stakes poker with large amounts of bluffing. Putting all of humanity into the bluff is about as high stakes as one can get. Is he bluffing? I think so but I hate having to call and ask him to show his cards with this one but we are heading in that direction. Folding isn't an option. Trumpbots and @Procus : Don't take it from anyone else in here. Take it from this guy. Trump was weakening the western liberal order and NATO and Putin benefited from that. With Trump gone Putin has to do the work himself.

And, at the end of the day we're gonna find concentration camps in Russia(already being talked about) which is probably the worst war crime we have and again, because of the threat of nuclear war we aint doooo nuffin. You are not paying attention, because you can't miss it.
March 22, 20223 yr 19 hours ago, Abracadabra said: You tell them it's not happening.... 15 years ago. Easy. This idea of an inviolable NATO "open door" policy is nonsense. Nothing in NATO's charter requires them to invite a nation into the pact. We're close to nuclear war over a freaking policy. Not American security, not international law, not treaty obligations....a freaking POLICY. Any argument sympathetic to Russia's wants or needs falls flat on its face when you see the people of Ukraine fighting tooth and nail for every inch of their country. What NATO wants or Putin wants can be spun ad naseum but at the end of the day it's what the Ukranians want that matters most and they don't want Russia taking over their country and would rather die than have that. Puppet governments and NATO interests do not get an entire nation to fight like demons this way. NATO doesn't fight for NATO like this. This kind of will to fight can only come from a country that knows damn well what it wants for its own identity moving forward and that clearly does not include being under Russia's thumb, foot or wing.

March 22, 20223 yr Russian Media Reports 10k Casualties - And Then Deletes Them A Russian tabloid newspaper published and subsequently deleted a report claiming nearly 10,000 Russian soldiers had died since the country first invaded Ukraine last month—a far greater number than the 498 deaths acknowledged by the Russian Ministry of Defense almost three weeks ago, and one that more closely aligns with third-party estimates, as Russia remains tight-lipped about its military losses in Ukraine. The pro-Kremlin tabloid Komsomolskaya Pravda published an article claiming 9,861 members of the Russian armed forces had been killed and another 16,153 had been injured, citing the Russian Ministry of Defense, according to an archived version of the article and screenshots from Wall Street Journal and ABC News reporters. The figure was not formally released or confirmed by the Ministry of Defense, which has been secretive about casualty counts and last published an official estimate on March 2, when it claimed 498 troops had been killed and 1,597 had been wounded, according to Reuters. The paragraph containing the figure no longer appeared in an article on Komsomolskaya Pravda’s website as of Monday evening. Western and Ukrainian officials think Russia’s true casualty count is far larger than the one released by the government: U.S. intelligence conservatively estimated 7,000 of the 150,000 Russian troops deployed in Ukraine had died as of March 16, the New York Times reported. Ukraine claimed Monday about 15,000 Russian troops had been killed, though this figure has not been confirmed by any independent party.
