It came right after he called putin out as a blatant liar and told the people of Russia they are not our enemy, the economic pains they are suffering are caused by the dictatorship of Putin wanting the 1970’s back. Get rid of the a-hole and take your freedom. The whole trip is a message to putin… we’re on your doorstep, your economy is crashing and we’re not backing down.

But what POTUS says is policy. It's the same standard we hold all presidents to. If a US president says Putin shouldn't be in power then it's now US policy that Putin shouldn't be in power because they have the power to make it happen. Anyone giving a thumbs up to anyone in power, saying it, has shown themselves as a partisan and should no longer have their opinion taken into consideration. It was stupid and provided a rallying cry for Russia when Graham said it, and it's 10 times worse now that the president has said.
