I think outside help will still be a strong factor if he's overthrown. Just more in a funding/arms/intelligence kind of way vs a missile aimed at the Kremlin kind of way. Kinda like in Ukraine I imagine there are a LOT of NATO/US/EU operatives on the ground doing things we'll never know about to help them fight back. 

Not sure if that will be enough but we'll see.

I'm sorry, there is literally no point in trying to have an adult conversation with someone who thinks we would've been better off under a twice-impeached, fraud of a former president who got elected on platform of overt bigotry, $hit on the Constitution for four straight years, and then literally tried to have himself installed as a dictator because he couldn't handle losing an election.
