Gotta be honest. If the French are against it, I may need to rethink my position here saying it was a mistake. ALWAYS do the opposite of what the French think during war.

For sure.  A pretty good bet in peace time as well.

Agreed.  But with absolute power in Russia and the ability to freely trade with China and India, along with still getting $$$ for Oil from a good chunk of Europe,  Putin can live out his days without too much concern.  No binding UN resolution(Russia and China would veto, India veto or abstain), no one invading HIS country, no internal threat as they would all be purged.

The heat would definitely increase for the global companies that do stay in Russia.   But if they get one more penny by staying in Russia than leaving, they'll do it.  I mean, look at the US  - We gutted the working/middle class by shipping all the manufacturing jobs overseas, to get those couple of pennies per widget to the shareholders. That's why they call it the Almighty Dollar

The bolded part is what has allowed all the rest of it to be possible.

If I'm correct about the quote you're referring to, you know he was talking about food shortages in Ukraine/Europe, right?

Yah, Biden Derangement Syndrome is when Biden ad libs about taking out Putin only to be corrected by his handlers.

It's a syndrome if somebody questions the fitness of a president with dementia.

Even Macron has had enough of Biden's screw ups.

I see the "I like him 'cause he tells it how it is" crowd is now taking umbrage with the president calling a bloodthirsty fascist dictator a bloodthirsty fascist dictator.

Macron can get bent.  Russia's economy is in shambles, NATO is stronger than ever, and Putin is floundering fantastically and publically in an offensive that he was expected to win easily. If you don't want to engage him militarily fine I get it, but there is absolutely zero reason to stroke the cuntweasel's ego now by avoiding naughty language.

This pearl clutching over insulting Vladimir Fing Putin of all people is insane, even for you Smarty Jones.  Keep this up and it's the glue factory for you.

So now you have something in common with the French surrender monkeys. Congrats!

It might be a dangerous game, but I'm kinda relishing the idea of playing into his paranoia.

Be afraid, Vlad. Be very afraid...

I really never thought I'd see the day when the right is promoting France as the last bastion of rational diplomacy, but here we are...

The whole thing is a dangerous game, but do we really think Vlad is going to escalate, let alone go nuclear over POTUS calling him a butcher as he acts like a butcher? And if the guy is that fragile then what the hell are we doing here? It's silly.

Hopefully he doesn't call Russia the "Evil Empire". That could be dangerous.

Macron is a puss, just like his country.  Biden was right on point.  Putin is a butcher.

When the hooker in the bar doesn't agree with you on world politics, chances are pretty good you're spot on.

It was a slap, yes, but it wasn't faked. Rock was stunned and stumbling over his words afterwards. You can see the uncensored version online, Will just snapped after he saw how mad Jada was.
